Among those that we have worked with over the years, Bill stands out as exceptional. He took time to explain contracts and other paper work in easy-to-understand terms, and he provided well-informed and considered advice. He regularly stayed in touch with us while our house was on the market, and effectively problem-solved and resolved any difficulties that arose. Not only did he demonstrate considerable knowledge of the eastern North Carolina housing market, he also used several contemporary methods for marketing the house (e.g., beautiful photo shoots, video tours of the house and property posted on the web, property posting notifications on several real estate websites) while also using a variety of more traditional approaches (e.g., frequent open houses, occasional house tours for real estate agents in the area).
During a large majority of the time that Bill represented the property, the house was vacant while we lived on the other side of the country. During this time, problems with the property occasionally arose (e.g., damage to the house and yard as a result of a hurricane, damage to the drywall and paint due to a pipe leak). Bill was wonderful in helping us work through these situations, as he solicited contractor bids for repairs and oversaw their work.
