Improving market.
I'm looking for opinions on when homeowners think the market will turn around and when it will be a good time to sell.

Choosing a listing agent is critical when placing your home on the market.
I would love to hear feedback from sellers on what they feel are the most important issues to consider when choosing an agent. Thanks.

The most contemplated issue.
This is the issue that causes the most concern for many sellers. They don't want to underprice and give their home away nor do the want to overprice and create a stale listing? An experienced and competent agent will be able to put a sellers concerns to rest.

That's a bottom line answer and I agree. It's certainly a good way to judge!

Please understand, I have been an agent for almost 26 years, have a degree in real estate and I have been a top producer for the past 12 years in a row. With all my knowledge and experience, it is still difficult to evaluate homes. It's not necessarily best for a homeowner to rely on only one source to determine the value of their home so you did the right thing by interviewing several agents. To answer your question about pre-qualification, my policy is to not take buyers out unless they have been pre approved. There are some exceptions to that rule however, one of them being I may personally know the buyer and know what they are capable of. I think you are not only right for asking for that but justified as well. Not only does it help not waste your time, but my time as well. I hope this helps. Good luck in your pursuits. Bill

If that works out well for your neighborhood then that is an asset for you. Good luck and I hope that agent can continue to bring good buyers and good values to your area. Bill
