Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $325K in Somerville, MA.
In time of such uncertainty with home sales, Bill's knowledge of the local market and current trends helped us make intelligent decisions when we decided to sell our condo. His understanding of the process and focus on the right audience let him use the best tactics for getting the word out and letting our unit gain visibility. It was such a pleasure to work with Bill, and we were amazed how quickly our unit sold under his expertise. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. We highly recommend him.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $725K in North Cambridge, Cambridge, MA.
Bill was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and straightforward about the Cambridge / Somerville market. We really felt like he was on our side and looking out for our best interests. We recommend him highly.
Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $375K in Somerville, MA.
Bill was fabulous! I was frustrated with the first agent I worked with because I felt she was just trying to get me to hurry up and buy so she could her her commission. I found Bill on the recommendation of a friend who raved about him and had used him to buy a place in the same neighborhood.
Bill was very patient and understood the value of waiting for the right property and never pushed me to make a decision I wasn't ready for. He was a wealth of information about the details of neighborhoods and their selling and rental values. Bill also helped me to think outside the box and introduced me to some areas I hadn't thought of (some of which became possibilities and some of which didn't, but I appreciated the extra knowledge either way).
Bill really listened to me and tailored his search based on feedback I had given him. He really got familiar with what I was looking for and even went so far as to go check out some places ahead of time and if he didn't think it was a good purchase for me he didn't waste my time bringing me there.
By the end of the process I had gone through offers on 3 different properties and a hefty negotiation on the repairs needed for the one I ended up buying and he was helpful through all of it.
Overall working with Bill was as much as I could have asked for, he knew when to provide me with extra information and when we had already gone over it. That combine with his knowledge of the area made him amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any and all friends looking for a home in this area.
Bill was great. He was professional, easy to work with and went out of his way to find properties in-line with my priorities.
Bill was also extrememly knowledgeable about the locations of the properties. Bill made great recommendations about how the property values may change and the risks of investments in certain areas.
When it came to the negotiation process, Bill worked diligently on coming to a quick and equitable resolution, while always keeping in mind my priorities and things that I would not negotiate on.
My three favorite things about Bill, however, are (1) that he is always available to go check out a property and will find you a replacement agent should he happen to be out of town; (2) that he was always extremely professional and friendly; and (3) I never felt pressured with Bill - he could tell when places were not right for me and actually told me this a couple of times while visiting different properties.
I would definitely recommend Bill and will certainly use him again in the future.
Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $525K in Back Bay, Boston, MA.
I have been working with Bill for 1 year during my transition from Philadelphia to Boston due to a job relocation. First, Bill assisted me with identifying a place in Cambridge to rent temporarily. Then, after 6 months I was ready to purchase a home in Boston. Bill was extremely knowledgable of both the Cambridge and Boston geography and housing markets. He made the process seamless and helped decrease the anxiety of buying a new home in a sellers market.
My situation was particularly challenging, since I have two large dogs and therefore, perseverence in the market was required. Bill was patient and was always able to provide a list of available properties to potentially meet my needs. Furthermore, Bill's responsiveness any day and time was very much appreciated. Ultimately, I found the condo that I now call home in Back Bay, and I have to wholeheartedly thank Bill for making the experience such a pleasure.
I would recommend Bill, without hesitation, to anyone looking to either rent or purchase real estate in the Boston/Cambridge area.
I first met Bill in 2007 when I was looking for a rental in Boston and the surrounding neighborhoods and he helped me out. He was very easy to work with, super friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable about the local real estate market. I then reconnected with him a few years later when I started looking for a home to buy and reached out to him for assistance.
Having now known Bill for years, since I haven't bought anything yet (due to my own personal reasons) Bill has never stopped trying to help me find the perfect home.
I consider Bill to be a friend more than my realtor. I can bounce ideas off him, share concerns and expect to receive honest and genuine feedback from him about the various properties I saw and also did make offers on. He is extremely patient and explains the pros and cons of everything to a newbie home purchaser like me. He has also made every effort to make sure that sometimes when either my family or friends come with me to see a home, he is just as responsive to their questions and concerns.
I have never once felt pressured by him to purchase something even though he has invested a significant amount of time and energy in me. He is a real pleasure to work with and I have recommended him to a whole bunch of my friends who have begun their search for a home. I can definitely say Bill is just amazing to work with and I truly trust him which is my key criteria when working with a realtor.
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $400K in Billerica, MA.
My husband and I bought our first house with Bill. He came highly recommended to us by a close friend and we were not disappointed! Being "property virgins" we were extremely nervous and intimidated by the whole process, but Bill made it so easy! He was knowledgable and honest with us when it came to things like location and resale value. While looking at houses, he pointed out things that we never would have noticed or thought to look at. He was always forthcoming and professional, making sure that we were fully informed so we could make the best decision for us.
When it came time to actually purchase and close on the house, Bill recommended people we work with, such as the mortgage broker, attorney, and home inspector. They were all amazing too! Bill has really chosen the right group of people to work with, making the daunting process of home buying so easy from start to finish. Even at our closing, when we encountered a minor setback brought on by the seller's agent, Bill went to bat for us. He turned a potentially stressfull, ugly situation into a smooth comfortable transaction for both sides.
We are so happy with our new home and would definitely work with Bill again should we ever decide to move. I have recommended him to several my friends who are looking to purchase or rent, and know with confidence, that they will have a great experience just as we did!
Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $250K in Quincy, MA.
Although Bill is an agent in Cambridge he went out of his way to make my dream of owning a beach cottage come true.I am a first time home buyer and Bill was very patient with me. I had a budget and Bill always kept that in mind along with my wants and needs. I told Bill I did not need a house that was brand new as long as it had good bones which I could work with it to make it my own. After 5 months of searching he found my home.
Bill was extremely resourceful when it came to helping me find a mortgage broker, home inspector, and real estate lawyer for the closing.
One final note.... everything written above is important but the most important detail I can write about Bill is that he is trustworthy and really made the whole process of buying a home less stressful.
Thank you Bill for helping get the best view I have ever had....the ocean.
My wife and I are moving to the Boston area from out of state and a friend recommended that we work with Bill.
Bill worked overtime and even on short notice to fit us in on our trips up to Boston. He was always available by phone or email, and answered our many, many questions quickly and patiently. Bill took us on a tour of all of the areas surrounding the city including Boston Proper, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline and Brighton, and was very knowledgeable about each area. There isn’t a restaurant, pub or point of interest that he doesn’t know about. Over a series of weekend visits, Bill got to know us and helped us to narrow down our choices and find the perfect area in which to find an apartment. Our options were complicated by the fact that we have a large dog but Bill kept her needs in mind as well and helped us to find the perfect pet-friendly apartment near a dog park which certainly was not an easy task.
Bill was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and - equally as important - friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Bill if you are looking for a realtor who will make you feel like you are his only clients and will work hard to make sure you are happy. We feel so fortunate that we had the opportunity to work with Bill as our realtor. He made the first part of a difficult transition as easy as possible. You are in good hands with Bill.
We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Mid-Cambridge, Cambridge, MA 02138
Set an appointment for a showing, and he was a no show. He confirmed the day prior to the set meeting. Blamed us for HIS misunderstandings, instead of apologizing for the miscommunication. Didn't really have any interest in being kind to his customers... e.g. didn't set up another time. Disrespectful and discourteous.
Response from Bill on 06/22/2012
This customer asked to see a unit on a Friday. They emailed me on Wednesday and I told them that while I could not make it Friday, I could do the same time another day (Thursday). They showed up on Friday and were furious with me for not being there. The confirmation that this person mentions was a reiteration that while I COULD NOT make it Friday (the following day) but that I would be happy to meet them that evening (Thursday). I apologized while they were hanging up on me.
I am sorry that this person had a bad experience and I hope they are able to find a place that works for them.
