Billy Kingery was my listing agent. After coming to me with a buyer's lowball offer of only 67% of my asking price, I told him what the very lowest amount I could (painfully) take. The next buyer made an offer below that amount and when negotiating, their top offer was $200 over that number. I had meant for our conversation to remain in confidence and not release that number to any potential buyers. The buyers had to know that amount when doing a deal for over $100k and their top offer is only $200 over the sellers lowest price. I felt that any negotiating power I had wes taken away by his disclosere.
