Working with Blake was perfect and easy. He made what in theory is a very daunting process (buying a house) into something manageable and clear. From showing us the unit for the first time to signing, he was able there to answer any of our questions and take care of all details. Blake walked us through all the negotiations and always had our best interests in mind.
Blake knows the market in Portland and he uses that knowledge to position his clients in a very favorable spot in the competitive market that is The Pearl District. He knows the history of our building, the selling prices of other units in our building and those in the area. He knows the idiosyncrasies of The Pearl and he is very able to paint a complete picture of what owning and living in this part of town means.
After closing, we were in Maine for Christmas and hadn't had a chance to get our keys made before leaving town. Blake went well beyond what was expected of him when he dropped whatever he was doing to let a contractor into our new home. It was truly amazing how responsive he was, even after the deal had been closed.
In summary, Blake is an absolute stud to work with and I highly recommend him. He's excellent.
