I recently started a lease with this realtor. I was given great service up until the first day of the lease. Up to that point, the realtor was very accommodating with the leasing options. The realtor gave me pertinent information to activate my utilities on 10AM the Friday before Labor Day (the first day of my lease) along with a message saying that I would be given the combination to the lockbox containing the keys to the apartment the morning of the first day of my lease. Because Labor Day was the first day of my lease, the electric or gas was not able to be activated by the time I arrived. On Labor Day, I did not receive an email with the lockbox combination. Luckily, during my first meeting with a representative, I had asked for his personal number should I have any problems. Had I not asked for his number, I would not have been able to enter my apartment because the realtor's office was also closed on Labor Day. Due to fear of work complications because of the lack of electricity, I stayed at a hotel for the first night. When I informed the representative of all of my troubles, I was told that the hotel would not be compensated and that they would "improve [their] systems to avoid these issues". The issue was Labor Day. Somehow, a holiday threw their office into chaos. How they intend to improve where holidays fall in the year is beyond me. The one thing I ask of any landlord of mine is a return on the respect that I show. Now I'm wiping their spit from my face.
