I am a real estate agent with Southland GMAC in the Fountain City location. I have lived in East TN all my life and would not live anywhere else. I love our mountains, lakes and communities and the friendly people. I have 2 grown children, Amanda and Scott Denton.I live in the Corryton area with my husband, Dwayne.  Prior to entering the field of real estate I was in retail management for over 25 years. Those who know me will say I am friendly, kind to others and a hard worker. Since I have been in Real Estate one of my biggest pleasures has been helping others as they make one of the most important decisions in their life. That is buying a home. It's a lot of fun getting to know buyers and tuning in on their needs and then going to work to find the perfect property just for them. By the end of the process (at closing) we all feel like family! I also enjoy working with the sellers, although this can be a little harder since many times there can be mixed emotions with selling the family home with all the childhood memories or the uncertainty of change when selling one home and moving into another home. Being a mother helps me as an agent because I am used to reading feelings and then taking the appropriate action to make things happen. Being a mom also makes it easy for me to work with young couples and first time buyers. I just take care of everything.
