Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Brookline, Pittsburgh, PA.Summary:

Response from Brian
Meghan & Tyler were hungry buyers, determined, motivated, pre-approved. Nothing but a joy to work for, we were together almost every night viewing homes until we finally found one. It was bitter sweet once we got their home under contract as we felt like we were all dating then broke up we spent so much time together! :-)
We looked at some stinkers but sometimes you have to in order to know you have found the right one.
Good luck Tyler & Meghan!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Avalon, PA.Summary:
As first time home buyers we were genuinely clueless as to what we were doing. We stumbled upon Brian through Zillow and read through his reviews and it was a no brainer that we needed to contact him. He responded within 15 minutes of initial contact, around 9PM, and from that point until closing his responsiveness to our questions and concerns was second to none. I think what really stood out was his honesty and knowledge of the business. He explained everything, had answers for every question, and helped in anyway he could. At each showing he would express his concern without any hesitation and if he had any reservations or thoughts, he would make them known; I don't think you can ask for anything more from an agent, but Brian was willing to the extra mile. The reviews you are reading for Brian are legitimate, he's definitely earned them. We'll definitely turn to him when we go to sell and buy or next property and actually look forward to it.

Response from Brian
Brit & Adam were dream buyers, they took no time at all as 1st time home buyers to figure out what they liked & did not like, pre-approved, easy breezy! What they did not write was that they looked at homes for a few months prior to me then could not find anybody to represent them....WHAT?! Sign me up! Everybody was a dream to work with from seller, listing agent, lender to closing agent. A rare thing! Congrats and good luck on your first place!

Bought a home in 2012.Summary:
My husband and I first came in contact with Brian roughly a year ago after a bad experience with another agent left us, once again, looking for representation.
We initially approached Brian in regards to listing our condo in Pittsburgh’s Southside. Brian happily jumped to action, filming a swanky YouTube video, creating stunning pamphlets, and planning an introductory “cocktail-party style” twilight open house.
Shortly after listing our condo with Brian, my husband and I decided to go a different direction and turn the unit into a rental property. Brian was generous enough to allow us to expire the listing early (way early – we only gave the poor guy about 2 weeks!) and even offered tips on how to advertise the property as a rental.
7 months after turning our former primary residence into a rental property my husband and I were ready to buy our new home. We knew, without a doubt, that Brian was our man! Once again, he jumped to action – setting us up on a property notification website, helping us research school districts, and even showing us properties “after hours” and late into the evening due to my husband’s hectic work schedule.
Yesterday, my husband and I finally received the keys to our dream home and we couldn’t have done it without Brian by our side. He has a wonderful team of people (Leslie Raymond – you kept me sane!) that are also right there with you, every step of the way.
All other accolades aside; if you are looking for a reliable, prompt, tech savvy, friendly agent – Brian is your guy. He will be with you every step of the process, regardless of how much you’re listing your property for, or how much you’re looking to spend for the home of your dreams; Brian treats each and every one of his clients with respect.
Thanks again Brian, we couldn’t have done it without out you and your fabulous team!

Sarah & Andrew are the type of buyers that make the job, well, not a job! What she graciously left out was that the transaction was a high stress transaction because of a subdivision which is rarely easy or quick so timelines came into play. They kept it together and my team Leslie of Omega Financial, PA Land Titles' Denise Doyle and Pillar to Post's Tim Quinn navigated Sarah & Andrew to the keys Sarah referred too. Enjoy your new place guys!!!

Sold a home in 2012.Summary:
First time home buyer here. IM 29year old Male in which I found Brian through a local gym at first which built a friendship. I investigated some of his sales and buyer feedback I quickly found how knowledgeable he was and I knew he was the right person to help me.
Watching his YouTube videos I was able to find tips and answers to some things I wanted to know before I started the process of: I want to look at a house.
I approached him with the intentions of "I just want to look and maybe buy 6 months from now". He insisted I setup a "Search" just so I could get an idea what is out in the PGH area and also find a ballpark to what I want. Brian was very attentive and helpful from the start of this process to the end. Looking at houses he was able to help me find the right fit and point out what to look for and what to stay away from. He learned me as a buyer and was able to weed out the houses before I looked into them more. The 5 star rating doesn't even do the justice to the service he was able to provide. He is an excellent real state agent and will help you find what you need. His DO WORK driven for success and upbeat personality makes the process move along smoothly. He is on top of all social media which helps when trying to find services (home inspection, insurance, loans, ect). I HIGHLY recomend Brian and I give him a solid high five on her services.

Ryan became a client and friend pretty much at the same rate. Getting to know him at our CrossFit classes I knew he was a serious person that knew what he wanted, would not accept less, & was determined to get it! Being employed in the tech field I knew I had to be on top of my tech game for him.
He was opposite of most buyers in that he could afford more, but his VERY active lifestyle was more important. Quite respectable & opposite of most buyers that max out their budget & will even settle for becoming house poor.
It did not take us long to find a nice starter pad, the negotiations went smooth which led to a very smooth closing!
Good luck Ry & hope being a home owner is everything you expect!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in Pittsburgh, PA.Summary:
We have worked with many realtors on both the buying and selling end of homes. In this particular case, we worked with Brian while selling our home. Some things that made him immediately stand-out to us above the others in the field is he never asked how much we owed on the home (which is typical for someone looking for a quick sale) and he stressed the positive elements of the home rather drawing our focus to its drawbacks (again, typical of a quick sale). The later was especially important to us because we happened to still really like the home that we were selling.
He also had some impressive tactics. Rather than just pictures of the home, he created a YouTube video that gave a walk-through of house. Sometimes, it's the extra effort that's all that is needed. In this case, I cannot directly vouch to whether or not it brought extra viewers initially because there is no way that I would know, but I do know that the eventual buyers showed this video to their parents. So at the very least, it was an additional tool and may have also quite possibly been some positive re-enforcement. The problem is that when I watched this video, it gave me second thoughts of selling! In any case, I was impressed.
The last thing that I liked about working with him is he was somewhat of a realist. We had done a lot of work to our home (originally intending to stay there... well, at least one of us was....) and he shared that experience with his winter hobby of fixing up homes. So going in, both of us knew what was within reason to do and when a buyer was living in a dream world (as we would get feedback on viewings). He offered his opinion when asked; some of the things we agreed with and some of them we didn't. I guess just like any other team. Ultimately, we worked together to get the deal done.
So, to end this rambling, I would definitely recommend Brian as a Realtor. He's knowledgeable, usually ahead of the game, and puts in the work that the others seemed to put-off. He does not wait for the computer system to just sell the house and wait to collect his pay-check. He actually works for the sale.

This seller was the subject of my VLOG about We had it under contract right away but buyer got cold feet and backed out after a few weeks which is the scarlet letter of listings. So, it sat, we reduced and could not sell it. The kitchen was the only thing NOT updated so we discussed and seller pulled it off of the market, put $2-$4k in the kitchen, re-listed it and had a bidding war and closed on it OVER our ORIGINAL list price. Sellers, contact me so I can send you the VLOG and watch it a few times, EVERYTHING (especially kitchen) makes the difference!

Bought a home in 2012.Summary:
Brian was referred to me by a mutual friend and from the minute he knew I was in the market for my first home he was at my "beck and call". He referred me to a lender and within days I was pre-approved, and then the fun began!
We probably looked at a couple dozen homes before we finally found *my home*, and throughout the whole adventure, Brian was able to accomodate every appointment or showing I requested by the next weekend. I would definitely give him 10 stars on responsiveness because I honestly felt like I was his only client (although, I know I wasn't based on his very active Facebook feed!)
When it was finally time too buy the house, the whole process went about as smoothly as possible. Brian does everything electronically, so it made signing things very efficient and convenient. Throughout the closing / inspection / appraisal process Brian and Leslie (Raymond - from Omega Financial) told me exactly what to do. I did exactly that, and a month later I was a home owner!
In summary, I am very pleased with our transaction. I would definitely recommend using a realtor if you are buying a house (I have a friend who didn't, and things did not go nearly as smoothly) and I would definitely recommend Brian as that guy!
Thanks, Brian!!!!!

Kylie was the quintessential 1st time home buyer. She just wanted to "see what is out there & eventually purchase a place". I have heard this thousands of times and just let it ride. No different than any other 1st time buyer, she was not sure exactly where she wanted to be or type of house. It did not take too long for us to find "the place". We could tell the minute we walked in because of the experience we got from viewing other homes and we both just got "that feeling" when we walked in.
The process went smooth, and she closed on her 1st place and is now enjoying the joys of owning her piece of the American Dream!
Thanks for working with me Kylie and have fun!

Sold a home in 2012.Summary:
I could not have been any happier with Brian's services. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many different Sales Tools Brian used to list my home and make it known to the public. Brian's use of modern Technology was made very apparent from the beginning. I truly believe that these tools is what allowed my home to sell so quickly despite the Winter / Holiday season.
I have already recommended Brian's services to a friend of mine whom is searching for a home and I will continue to do so in the future.

Joe was a great seller but we would have sold it quicker if he would have listed the house at my suggest list price but hey, it just cost him a month before he realized I was correct. Transaction went smooth as silk through inspections & mortgage contingency period.
Thanks for using my services!

Helped me rent a Multi Family home in Coraopolis, PA.Summary:
We were relocating from Miami/Fort Lauderdale to Pittsburgh due to a job transfer. The thought of packing up and moving to a town we had never been to was scary. Not being prepared to buy a home immediately, we were put in touch with Brian who stepped up and found us a great rental house on a beautiful country street. It's quiet, private and SAFE! Just exactly what we were looking for.
On a cold and rainy December day Brian drove all the way out to the house, recorded a video of the property, emailed it to us in Florida (which we promplty showed to all of our friends and family) and put us in touch with the property's management. We were unpacking in our new home less than ten days later! We feel that he really went out of his way for us without any big payoff. That's a good guy. Renting a house from over a thousand miles away requires a lot of trust. Brian is certainly someone you can trust. Thanks again Brian. We appreciate your time and dedication.

These guys were great to work for. I found them via the Facebook referral network & contacted their agent in FLA before I went out for a run. I will admit that I did not know it was a lease vs. a purchase at first. An agent around here passed on the referral because to be quite honest there really is no $ in leasing but after speaking to their agent it seemed like a great opportunity to help out somebody in need. As Mike stated, there were states away with a VERY tight time frame. I just technology to make it happen & we got em in! Unfortunately I STILL have never met them as everything was handled online! Glad everything worked out for them!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Indianapolis, IN.Summary:
Efficient, motivated, and aggressive. Brian is very accessible, punctual, and willing to work for the client. For example, our car was in for repair one week, so he offered to pick us up to see properties of interest the whole week. He communicates very well, keeps you connected, and you can be direct with him. Also, even when the process of negotiation gets a little challenging, he will listen and act to help you reach your ideal price and goal. Overall, we highly recommend Brian as a buying agent.

Response from Brian
Not sure why it says he bought a home in Indy but I can assure you it was Pittsburgh. This buyer was a tough one and his review reflects that. We went in "aggressive" on the offer price citing everything from comparable properties to recent crime stats. The negotiation process definitely got challenging as it was a vacant house that was the family home with a ton of emotional attachment! He was also very direct with me as I remember him & his g.f. in my office yelling at me (not because of anything I did but rather the sellers & sellers agent aggravating him) trying to bail as negotiations got tough but I kept cool & suggested a different tactic & it worked. The purchase price of this place was under $80k.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Sewickley, PA.Summary:
If you are like me, choosing a realtor can be a daunting task. Pick the wrong one and you take the chance of losing money or more importantly time. Unfortunately, my wife and I chose the wrong realtor. Our home was listed with another realtor for over a year with only five showings and no offers. I spent several weeks researching new realtors to re-list our property. I came across Brian Teyssier on Zillow. I read the recommendations people had posted and decided to interview him. I truly liked what he had to say and especially liked his out of the box ideas for marketing our house. We took a chance and listed our property with him.
You might be thinking that Brian suggested that we lower our price when we re-listed with him, well he did...by only $133.00. He felt the odd price would draw attention to the listing and referenced a recent study that claimed odd numbers drew higher selling prices. This is an example of the type of out of the box thinking I was talking about. He also offered suggestions for some easy, inexpensive updates to our home prior to re-listing it and even offered to assist us with them!
When we decided to rent out our current home instead of sell, Brian was right there with us, asking us the right questions to make sure we were doing the right thing for us, not him, us. He even offered assistance with in setting us up with a property manager.
As we went through the process of buying our new home, Brian again was right by our side. Never in the way or out of touch, he provided exactly the right amount of support and guidance to us through the whole process. He was never more than a phone call, email or text away.
Brian offers the type of service one might expect from a realtor if you were listing a million dollar property, however, my listing price was less than $100,000. I am truly grateful to Brian for his guidance and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

These clients are more than clients, they have become friends. They have a son, Ian a little younger than my daughter and we all met down at the Houston Pumpkin festival and had fun. I remember Kris wanted me to meet him at the new place before taking possession to measure for a fridge. I figured if I was going to go above & beyond a little I would get something in return. Kris' wife signed up for the Pittsburgh half marathon who is a runner & Kris signed up for the 5k, who is not a runner. I told him in order for me to meet him, he would have to go for a 1 mile run from the property in order to gain access. He took the challenge! Good job Kris & good luck at the race!

I would recommend Brian to absolutely anyone buying a house. He is hands down, the easiest person in world to get hold of, he listened to what we wanted, and didn't lead us into buying a house just to get us into closing. We've said that when it's time to sell this place, we'll list with Brian and hopefully close on another new property with him. He was fantastic to work with and look forward to doing so again in the future.
