Team reviews

Brooks has extensive knowledge of the San Ramon and Danville areas. His approach is very front-loaded. He sets up a great website and flyers in the first week. At the initial meeting, he said he had many contacts so we could present our home in the best light. We never got any contacts and found painters, window washers, handyman, etc on our own. The weeks prior to listing, his cell phone was out of service and it was difficult to locate him. Because of the hot market and prime condition of our home, we sold it for over asking. There was a major issue regarding the buyers financing that arose during the weeks before closing. It was difficult to obtain information from him. I will say his wife, Jill, was very professional and helpful. Brooks made disturbing remarks about the loan officer and buyer's agent which we have advised these parties of. He also said he sold the house by himself, without help from us or the market. He also thinks he works harder than anyone else. This is our 12th home sale. We are seniors with careers in law enforcement and army. He needs to be more respectful and be thankful he works in such a desirable area.

In this particular case I thought my team and I did an A++ job when prepping and marketing this beautiful San Ramon home. We were given only 1 day to hold the open house which was a Friday night, instead of the typical Saturday and Sunday slots. Due to our very aggressive mass marketing campaign that one open house day was not a waste. We had over 150 potential buyers visit the home, I had 3 of my agents there to make sure all parties were attended to and all questions/concerns were answered. That HUGE open house resulted in 6 offers (most all over asking) and I successfully negotiated a price that was the highest that neighborhood has seen in years ($50,000 over the last comparable sale) and demanded my client get 1 month to stay in her home and prepare for the new move to Monterey FREE OF CHARGE!!! These clients were incredibly excited about the offer, terms, and very quick results. In fact I remember “high 5's” and hugs from these sellers. Please visit www.SkippyBeanReviews.com

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $975K in Chabot Park, Oakland, CA.

Brooks was a breath of fresh air. He brought great energy to the process of selling our home. I had never even heard of anyone doing three open houses in one weekend until I saw Brooks do it. The listing and sale was smooth, easy and as low stress as such a thing can be. We had the money in the bank three weeks from the day of the first open house! If I ever need to sell real estate in the Bay Area again, I will call Brooks first.

We chose Skippy Bean Realty because Brooks Landry, co owner of Skippy Bean Realty gave the best presentation of all the realtors we interviewed. He made us feel very comfortable and told us that he felt he could get us multiple offers. We received seven offers the first weekend, three above asking. Both Brooks and Jill Landry are very personable, professional, proficient and do an excellent job. We highly recommend their services.

Sold a home in 2013 in San Ramon, CA 94583.

We went from seeking a listing agent to signing a contract with a buyer in a matter of 3 weeks. The first two weeks involved us cleaning the house. Skippy Bean provided a cleaning service at no extra charge, and then hired a stager to come in and make the house look incredible again at no additional charge. All these things were included while offering a low and very competitive commission rate. They do incredible work getting the word out and showcasing your house on the internet. Brooks was there everyday on time to be ready to show the house and he walked us through everything.

Once we found the buyer the paperwork process was simple. Everything proceeded smoothly and we focused on moving not on the details regarding the sale of the house. If we had any questions or there were any hiccups I could always reach someone to answer my questions. Compared to everyone else I know the sale of the house went exceptionally smoothly. We were in a hurry to sell and we still got more than we asked.

My only advice is that real estate agents can only nudge you lightly toward a listing price, because it really is up to you. This is not something that is a con of SkippyBean. If you choose a reasonable listing price things move a lot smoother. We chose one we were comfortable with and managed to get more, and most stories I hear from friends and family are because they tend to list too high and people don't even come to look even if they would give that price after seeing the house.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $500K in Livermore, CA.

Brooks, and his wife Jill, were a pleasure to work with! They knew what I wanted better than I did! They made my first experience buying a home exciting and enjoyable. I couldn't have asked for a better team in my corner!

Thank you so much for taking me out of my comfort zone, and finding what is truly the perfect home for me!

Sold a home in 2013 in San Ramon, CA 94582.

It is very good to get help from Brooks and Jill to sell our house in San Ramon. Because of the schools, most buyers are Asian families with children. They are quick to learn Asian culture and style.

Bought a home in 2013 in San Ramon, CA 94582.

We moved to California about a year ago and did not know the area very well. I found Brooks Landry on Zillows because he has very good reviews from his customs. Brooks is very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. He found a place that we really liked, and He negotiated a good deal that the seller's accepted. We are extremely pleased with the results we got. Brooks is a very informative, polite, kind, and respectful person. He service to be exceptional as well as professional. We had an incredibly positive experience with Brooks and would absolutely recommend his services to any serious home buyer or seller. Thank you Brooks! Here, I also would like to appreciate Brooks' wife Jill. She did great work for our loan application. I had so many questions about our application, and she was so patient with the never-ending questions. Her advice and assistance were detailed, clear and precise. She works with professional, knowledgeable, and organized. I highly recommend Jill to any one who wants to apply a loan for their home.

Sold a home in 2011.

We found Brooks and his company on Craigslist after watching one of his video's he posted about a new home he had for sale. We had been turned down on offers we wrote with our previous real estate agent and decided to switch things up a bit.

We met with Brooks to discuss our goals in homeownerhsip and he immediatly got to work. After viewing a few homes that he found for us we wrote on offer on a beautiful property. The only issue was that we were using out VA home loan that made it hard for us to compete against the all cash buyers and the regular conventional loan buyers. Brooks sold the selling agent that we were strong buyers and would stick around through the entire process. After having inspections done the home needed some serious clean up ( including the pool needed to be cleaned and re-filled) in order for our bank to lend us the money to buy.... the only problem was that we didn't have the money to hire a landscaping or pool company to help clean. Brooks met us at the house on a Saturday and helped pick up all the concrete bricks, old tires, wood, cleaned the pool (and re-filled) and other debris that was preventing us from closing.

Needless to say we are clients for life! I never would have imagined a real estate agent going to the lengths he had in order for us to buy a home.... He litterally rolled up his sleeves and got to work!

Thank you very very much Brooks and Jill we really appreciate all the HARD work! :)
