Helped me rent a Multiple Occupancy home in East Boston, Boston, MA.
Matt was extremely helpful to both my roommate and I. After having trouble with previous realtors, he was a wonder to work with. Always willing and ready to help, and always around when we needed him. From the beginning we knew he was our realtor and provided an open and welcoming environment to both of us when looking at properties in the East Boston area. He even met me at work to sign my lease which was extremely appreciated. I would highly recommend him when looking for a realtor because he made a very stressful process very easy.

Matt was basically a saving grace for my roommate and I. We hadn't been having luck with any realtors and when we found him he helped us out, stayed in contact with us, and was able to find us an apartment in the exact area we wanted. He's really sweet and easy going. Matt's great to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for real estate in the East Boston area.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in North Andover, MA.
Matt has tremendous knowledge of the industry. He was willing to work with me on my home sale by thinking outside the box and was open to trying a new approach. I truly appreciate all his help and insight.

Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $200K in East Boston, Boston, MA.
In short, Matt was an excellent agent. Some aspects I would like to acknowledge:
1) Friendly: Matt was extremely friendly. One postive thing that I liked is that he is not an "in your face, call you every second" type guy. He is the type of person who you can feel comfortable with immediately. I think that is a great quality for a realtor, because ultimately they are leading the way for you towards your new home and huge investment in life. Having a good attitude towards others allows the buyer to feel comfortable asking as many questions as possible and really letting the realtor know what he/she is looking for. I asked Matt so many questions. Some I'm sure were "stupid", but he always had a positive attitude and helped me out.
2) Knowledgable about the local area: Matt is very knowledgable about the surrounding area. He was telling me that he grew up in the Northshore area and that his family was all within the area as well. Having his business in East Boston and working for his family business also allows for him to have a lot of contacts in the area that can give insight information.
3) Responsiveness: Lets be real - when you are buying a house, you become obsessed with looking up houses and wanting to know every little detail. When I was looking for my condo, I think I emailed, called, and texted Matt about 100 times a day. He replied back to me immediately all 100 times with the answer... or promise to follow-up, which he always did.
4) Negotiation: There was some negotiation that had to be done for my condo purchase. Again since this was my first home purchase, I wasn't exactly sure how this process went. I do negotiate at work sometimes, but nothing along the lines of this... and with my own money. Matt was great. He's not your "get in someones face" type of negotiator, but more of a reasoning/open your eyes type negotiator. He allows both parties to see the positive side of the negotitaion so to keep everyone happy and with what they want. My back and forth with the previous Owners went as smoothly as they could go and in the end, I ended up with what I wanted.
All in all, Matt really fit all the qualities I was looking for in a Realtor. I ended up purchasing my first condo within a few months of starting to look and have him to thank! I would recommend his services to anyone. I even grabbed a few of his cards to hand-out to my friends and coworkers who are currently looking for houses. So if you need a realtor, he is your guy!
