Bought a home in 2011.Summary:
Working with John was a pleasure. He was able to meet with us to view homes in record time, most within the same day it was listed. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We started working with him the beginning of May and we purchased our house in the end of June. He listened to our needs and was able to find the perfect house for us. I also have to mention that John helped us get some great insurance rates for home and auto. My husband and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!!…More Less

Bought a home in 2010.Summary:
John is an amazing agent, and person.
I had been looking at houses for 5 years in Negaunee every summer when I was in town for Pioneer Week.
John was the first agent in all that time that took my request seriously from out of town and kept our appt when I was in town. Working around both the sellers and my jammed schedule.
Only being in town one week a year, John was my life line to the UP and the process.
We ran into banking challenges due to unforeseen issues with the lenders employees, appraisals, and general delays in the over all process.
Being 1200 miles away, John was always available and went above and beyond to put pressure on the local offices to get things moving when they stalled.
He was instrumental in negotiations when the sale price needed to be brought into line with the banks appraisals.
It took 5 months to get to closing, I almost gave up a few times, John was always positive and supportive.
At the end of the day I got the house of my dreams at my price point, thanks to John's dedication, professionalism and over all commitment to the client.
I recommend John to everyone and anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home.
He won't let you down!!!…More Less

Hello everyone!
Thank you for visiting my Zillow site. I would like to take this moment to tell you about myself and my background.
I am a Michigan native, born in Lansing and raised in Marquette after my parents relocated in 1983. I attended Marquette Area Public Schools were I graduated from Marquette Senior High in 1999 and Northern Michigan University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I have a background in law enforcement and security which gives me the edge on integrity, ethics and service.
After pursuing my desire to sell real estate, I traded in my badge for a real estate license. I took employment with the Elder Agency in Marquette as a Real Estate Agent in may 2007. I later obtained my Insurance License in February 2008 which allows me to provided insurance services to all of my clients, both commercially and residentially in conjunction with buying and selling real estate. This dual hat broadens my client base and assist in my ability to build relationships that aid in the marketing and sale of your real estate! I have since advanced my real estate license by completing an additional 90 hours of education and passing the Michigan Brokers exam To Aquire my Associate Brokers License.
I currently live in Marquette Township with my family were I am an active member of the Marquette Township Fire Department as a Firefighter/EMT. I also belong to several other organizations which include, BNI (Business Networking International), a member of the Presque Isle Advisory Committee for the City of Marquette, a member of the Ducks Unlimited, and a volunteer for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program.
When I am not pursuing real estate ventures, fighting fires, and attending board meetings, I have a passion for duck hunting and waterfowl preservation. I love to spend my time hunting, fishing, kayaking, riding ATV's and traveling with my friends and family. Its not unusual to seem me at social events or playing baseball in the park with my son. I am very adventurous, always searching for new ideas. I like to ride on the tip of the technology wave, grabbing for new technologies that make things fun and easy.
Now that you know about me, tell me about you? Feel free to email me or call if I can assist you in buying a new home or selling your existing one! I am not a monday through friday Realtor! Night and weekend calls are often essential for those who work during the week. You may also find me on Facebook and LinkedIn. Talk with you soon!

We told John what areas we wanted to look in, and right away he started sending us options via email to preview. He took us to every home we wanted to see, even the really bad ones (ha!), and never had any complaint. John even took us to view a home more than 30 miles out of his way, three times in about two weeks - that's a great realtor.
No matter how many questions we had, what time of day, John was there to answer them all. If he didn't know the answer, he would find out and call us right back. John is very professional, has a great personality, he knows what he's doing - and he's great at doing it!
Thank you for everything John, we wouldn't have been able to get as far as we have without your help!…More Less
