Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Sausal Creek, Oakland, CA.
Cameron recently helped us sell our Oakland home, and we were very happy with the experience. He marketed the house very well, and secured multiple offers over our asking price. Our transaction involved a short sale, which Cameron and his team handled competently despite very non-responsive lenders. We will definitely consider hiring Cameron when we are ready to buy another house, and would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends. Throughout this often stressful process - Cameron and his team were always there to assuage any concerns and bolster our confidence that all would end well; and it did.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $225K in Oak Knoll-Golf Links, Oakland, CA.
"Cameron's advice was invaluable when I purchased an investment property recently. I have used other real estate agents before, but none of them compared to Cameron. He's a former attorney, which really shows when you see how he negotiates. In addition, he has a deep knowledge of the local market that is lacking in many other agents. Despite all that, Cameron has a very easygoing and friendly nature that made the whole process seem very easy. I will be calling him up when I am in the market to purchase another property for sure."

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $525K in Alameda, CA.
Cameron is the hardest working Realtor we know. From the minute we said that we were interested in buying a house, he worked with us all hours of the day and night. Even coming to our place in the dark and rain to get a contract signed so we could place an offer immediately. We were pregnant, had very specific interests in where we wanted to live and what kind of house we wanted. We appreciated very much his knowledge of the legal aspects of real estate and it was clear that he has good working relationships with other Realtors. He was always prompt in getting offers in and getting ahold of us. He was awesome at discerning with us what a good house was and what a good deal looked like.
Now the baby is eight months old; we are in the exact neighborhood we wanted, in a house we love, that meets our needs. All thanks to Cameron.

Bought a Single Family home in 2007 for approximately $700K in Upper Dimond, Oakland, CA.
We were introduced to Cameron Platt through friends who highly recommended him. Upon meeting Cameron, we immediately felt comfortable and put at ease. We were first time home buyers and had many questions and concerns which he was able to answer thoroughly and with patience. Cameron was able to quickly understand our priorities in finding a home and successfully led us to a home that not only met, but exceeded our expectations. We were surprised to find our home as quickly as we did and his expertise became even more clear as he held our hands, explaining all of the steps, as we entered into our contract. While in contract, he advocated for us and continually provided a knowledgeable perspective. We are incredibly grateful for his assistance and have been happily living in our home for four years.

Bought a home in 2001.
We recently relocated to Oakland from New York, and were referred to Cameron by another local agent. We fell in love with a house in Montclair and were determined to make it ours, despite multiple other offers from interested buyers. Cameron pulled out all the stops in presenting our offer, and managed to convince the sellers to choose our offer over all of the others. The transaction was very challenging, but Cameron was with us every step of the way, making sure that we were comfortable with the process and protecting our interests. He even bought us a home warranty as a closing gift, which we have already used when the refrigerator unexpectedly went out. We would definitely recommend Cameron to other buyers who want the very best in the business.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $575K in Redwood Heights, Oakland, CA.
Cameron sold our home in the Redwood Heights area of Oakland via short sale. We were impressed with his deep knowledge of the short-sale process and his patience explaining that process to us. Despite the first set of buyers getting cold feet, Cameron was unflappable, and continued to aggressively market our house to prospective buyers. We ended up selling the house for over the asking price, and even got some money from our lender to help with our moving costs. We would definitely refer Cameron to friends, and look forward to working with him when we are ready to buy again.

Sold a Condo home in 2010 for approximately $325K in Berkeley, CA.
Cameron recently sold my Rockridge condominium via short sale. As I expected, he was very knowledgeable about the short sale process, explained the different stages to me in detail, and carefully guided me through the process. He did an excellent job marketing the condo and dealing with the manager of my small HOA. The sale took a while to complete, which I guess is normal for short sales, but in the end I was very impressed with how painless Cameron made the whole process. I would recommend him to my friends and colleagues without hesitation

Bought a Condo home in 2006 in Produce & Waterfront, Oakland, CA.
Buying or selling a property can be one of the most stressful events in anyones life, that's why dealing with Cameron is great. First off, you're dealing with a person and not corporation. He makes sure understand your options and will work with you to make sure in you are in the best position possible. Cameron helped me purchase my loft and subsequently has helped me rent it out and extend the lease to my renters. His personal nature and depth of knowledge of the East Bay make him and ideal realtor to work with.

I never really understood those who raved about their real estate agent... until now. My wife and I were first-time homebuyers, and had spent months and months scouring online listings and driving by places. When we finally decided to get serious, we called Cameron Platt at Platt Inc. Real Estate.
What can I say, but wow! Cameron's knowledge, skill and work ethic made the difference, period. He and his team are simply fantastic in every way. I am a lawyer and had a real estate broker's license, and I have to tell you that I learned more from talking with Cameron than I ever would have guessed. He knew the market, knew the agents, and was always willing to go the extra mile.
I can honestly say that we would not be in our home except for Cameron. He took care of everything, negotiated brilliantly, and ultimately made our offer stand out above the rest. He found us a great home that was move-in ready, in the neighborhood we wanted...and got us the home for $50K less than asking!

Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $675K in Montclair, Oakland, CA.
Cameron served as the buyer-side broker for my wife and me on a 6-month search for a house in the East Bay that was both affordable and large enough for our growing family. I'm happy to say that we bought a house in Montclair in 2009 that we are delighted with! Cameron worked tirelessly with us, showing us countless houses (nearly every weekend), writing up many different offers (I mean many!), and always providing us with excellent and well-informed, advice.
