Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $250K in Rolando Park, San Diego, CA.
Candace came through again !
We moved from Alpine (where she got us a great deal on our house there) into the city. I got tired of commuting. The kids are out of the house, so downsizing was also part of our moving. Alpine was an ideal place to raise our kids. Whoever buys our old house, I hope they have kids.
Candace was incredibly patient with us. My wife and I were pretty darn picky. She stuck with us through thick and thin for well over 6 months of intense searching. Candace had to do a lot of legwork, canvassing, research,.....she is not only the ONLY agent we will ever use or recommend....but my wife and I now consider her a dear friend.
We miss her. She was/is a joy to work with. I can't say enough good things to describe her. She's the best. Give her a call. Spend a week or two looking with her. You'll grow to love her too !
Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $900K in Alpine, CA.
Candace worked with my wife and I on our recent home purchase in Alpine. When we first contacted her, we told her that we'd found a house on the Internet that we were interested in, and that we'd like to have her show us that house, plus a few others in the neighborhood. (We found Candace through a San Diego Magazine article called "FIVE STAR Real Estate Agents".) Candance made herself available to fit our schedules, which was important to us as we were coming from Northern California.
After selecting a home, Candace guided us through the process of making offers and counteroffers, always providing guidance (from her many years in the real estate business) yet always listening to what we wanted to do and never insisting that her ideas would be better than ours. That was a BIG plus for us, and a quality you do not find in every agent.
After our offer was accepted, Candance handled the bulk of the work for us as we needed to remain in Northern California for several weeks. She was able to get paperwork to us electronically (even those items that needed signatures), and volunteered on several occasions to be present at the new property (while we were unavailable) to allow the speedy completion of inspections and all of the other work that goes into being sure that the house we were buying was exactly as it was represented to us. She was especially helpful to keep all of the players (loan broker, insurance, title company, etc.) on track for a smooth close and on schedule with our close-of-escrow date.
Then, after we moved in to our new Alpine home, Candace has continued to help us with selecting local vendors for house upgrades and even providing advice on the best places in town to eat!
Real Estate is a service industry. Agents should be measured by the degree and the quality of the service they provide. At every stage of the game, Candace made us feel that we were the most important, no the ONLY, people in the world. She provided us with the level of attention that VIPs deserve, and aren't we all VIPs? She is a very pleasant person, but can be assertive when the situation calls for a bit of forthrightness. She is well networked with others in the general real estate industry in the area, and that also proved to be advantageous for us as buyers. Candace is also a great communicator. Considering we were moving from 500 miles away, is was great to have constant updates. Candace was like having another set of eyes, ears, and hands right there in SoCal where I needed them.
Whether you need to buy or sell your home, if you're in the area that Candace serves, you should give her a call. You will not be disappointed.
