Bought a home in 2013.
If you want a home in the Swansboro, Camp Lejeune, Emerald Isle area, Carla is the expert. She was Wonderful to work with. She did not pressure me and when I finally found a home (a month and a half later as I am very picky) she was helpful in helping me find the professionals that I needed to get the deal closed. She is very knowledgeable of the area and she is just a very nice, honest person. I feel as if I have made a friend in this area!

Sold a home in 2012.
Carla is one of the best people I have ever worked for. I have dealt with her as a home seller and I have worked with her as a lender for her clients. She is excellent, very mindful of all concerned, and very determined to take the best care possible of her client. She is very fair and her word is her bond. If she tells you she will do something, take care of something, provide something, you can count on it happening. Carla makes herself available when you needs her and goes above and beyond to take care of her clients. I would refer anyone to Carla who wants a trustworthy, hardworking, loyal agent.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $225K in Newport, NC.
If you're looking for waterfront, this is the broker to use. She's very knowledgeable about not only the local area, but also drainage, flood, insurance, and CAMA issues that may need to be addressed. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Bought a home in 2012.
I was recommended to Carla through someone at work that had used her to purchase their home. He nothing but great things to say about her so I decided to give her a call.
From the first phone call she was a straight shooter and did not pressure me to buy. She only educated me on the process. She was supportive and would totally rearrange her schedule to meet my needs. I have never seen a more customer oriented person in my life. On top of everything she was knowledgeable about current market trents, she new tax rates, informed me of different types of lending services, and made sure that I was taken care of throughout every aspect of the transaction.
If you are an experienced buyer or a first time home buyer and are looking for representation............look no further. Do yourself a favor and hire Carla Buckhold.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Swansboro, NC.
I am a first time home buyer so I was very nervous going into buying a house. With Carla Buckhold, she told me everything to expect with the process. When she would take me out to look at properties, she would be completely honest about the area and the house. She never gave up looking when I had my doubts about finding a place. She was also able to find out information when the other realtor had missed a DOT plan for road widening, which could have effected my property value. When it came down to the nitty gritty, she did not push me in one direction or the other, she allowed me room to think things through and make sure that the decision was what I wanted. She also stood up for me in negiotiations and made sure that I would be getting the best deal I could. I highly recommend Carla Buckhold.
