Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $500K in Oceanside, CA.
Lee has been our realtor through the purchase and sale of three homes. He also recently helped my family relocate to the area. He is fast, honest, knowledgeable, and skilled at what he does. What makes Lee different than other realtors is his patience in helping you find exactly the right home for you, his understanding when it comes to the "must haves", and ability to negotiate a great deal on your behalf. I recommend him without reservation.
Lee Shamblee is an incredibly professional, warm hearted, honest and a real expert in our local housing market. He pays attention to every detail and kept us updated on all important events. A lack of communication is my biggest complaint about other realtors we have used in the past but Lee was perfect. Our experience in buying a home through Lee was the best imaginable. I recommend him to all my friends and family.
Lee was a pleasure to work with. As first time home buyers, my husband and I cannot thank him enough for all of his guidance in finding and purchasing our first home. Lee thoroughly explained the entire buying process from start to finish. His knowledge of North County San Diego allowed us to zero in on the neighborhoods that best suited us.
We both feel so fortunate to have had Lee as our agent. We will absolutely work with him again for our next real estate transaction.
Showed home in 2012 in Little Village, Chicago, IL 60608.
Lee was extremely helpful when we were looking for a condo, he was able to locate a lot of promising areas within our budget, he was always quick to respond to any questions we had and had a good knowledge of the areas. He knew the process inside and out and was able to walk us through, step by step.
I had to give him five stars in everything, since I honestly believe he is that good. It was an actual pleasure to work with him, and I would recommend him enthusiastically.
Helped me rent a Single Family home in Carlsbad, CA.
I wanted to get a place for my young daughter and myself, in a family neighborhood, in an excellent school district. I browsed through GreatSchools.com and soon realized that I wanted a home in the Carlsbad Unified School District. I had driven through some of the neighborhoods of Carlsbad (not being aware that Carlsbad was sort of divided into "Carlsbad north" and "Carlsbad south"). I dropped in on several real estate offices & spoke with at least one agent, or the broker, of each office I visited. I went first to all of the large, well-known real estate firms, and then some privately-owned real estate brokerages. The larger firms either wanted to only show me their own listings or only wanted to work with me if I was going to purchase a property for $600k or more. The smaller, independent real estate offices didn't seem to want to work for their commission. The agents wanted me to give them the specific addresses or streets that I was interested in, and then, they would help me. I wasn't from the area, so I had no clue what address I would want, what street I wanted, or what community I wanted. Also, when I told them that I wanted to rent first, they didn't even want to help me at all!
After a week of looking for a real estate agent that I wanted to work with, I drove my daughter to the local library, hoping for some quiet time, and to try to gather what my next move would be. We were at the library for about an hour, and the librarian was kind enough to listen to my situation. She recommended the RE/MAX office, across the street. I told her that I wasn't excited about going to another large real estate office, and plus, it being a Saturday, I was doubtful that anyone would even be there to help me. When my daughter and I got back in the car, I said to her, "just one more real estate office, okay, sweetie?" She gave me a kiss on the cheek, and smiled a big smile, and said, "Mommy, this will be the best one, you'll see!" I drove across the street to the RE/MAX parking lot. Besides my car, there was only one car parked. I thought, "this must be the janitor's car" (not even noticing that it was a beautiful Lexus). We walked up the stairs, and opened the office door. A tall man was sitting at the front desk, and I assumed he was the receptionist. He gave us one of the biggest, toothiest smiles and said, "Hi! Welcome to RE/MAX! How are you?" He found the home of my dreams! It is in one of the nicest communities of Carlsbad south, and my daughter goes to a 5-star elementary! The renting process was very easy because Lee understood what my needs were, and what price I was trying to stay in. He didn't push to force me to rent more than what I could afford. And he made sure that every little repair that I wanted was completed before I moved in. He knew many details of Carlsbad, as a city, that I wouldn't haven't even thought to ask. Since then, I've recommended Lee to 3 co-workers who were interested in either selling their home, or wanting to buy a home, or finding a place to rent!
Lee is very professional and his demeanor made us feel like we had known him for ages rather than just meeting him. He is very professional and his years of experience showed through in his knowledge of the neighborhoods we looked at. Lee was always responsive and communicated via text, email and phone whenever he had some listings to view or to answer my questions.
Lee was genuinely concerned about helping us find the right home and his attention to detail was superb - pointing out potential pros and cons of each property we visited.
This is the 7th home we bought. By far, Lee was the best realtor we used and met. I will highly recommend him to anyone.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Escondido, CA.
My experience with Lee was incredible. I worked with two realtors before Lee was recommended to me by a family friend. I called Lee on a Sunday afternoon and was expecting to hear back from him in a couple of days since that’s how my current realtor was. Lee got back to me within a couple of hours. We had a long discussion on what I was looking for in a house and community. The search Lee had put together for was great. I was very hard for me to narrow down which house I wanted to look at and which ones to pass on. As we began looking Lee quickly zeroed in on the key aspects I was looking at, and fine-tuned his search for me. The houses he found for me where exactly what I wanted and he had no problems with setting up times for me to go and view each of the houses I wanted to. We even viewed several houses on the weekend. When I found my house Lee got the offer to the selling realtor the same day I told him that I would like to put an offer in on the house. Lee put together a very comprehensive list of all the house sold in the area, and compare them to my house. By doing this Lee was able to save $15,000. I was extremely happy when he told me this. All in all I would recommend Lee to anyone who was looking for a realtor. I personally would go back to Lee if I where to sell my house or purchase another house.
