Real Estate is not just a career, but a profession that I enjoy and take very seriously. I love what I do and I am so lucky to have wonderful clients who make my job fulfilling and rewarding. The time that I spend with my clients is not only fun, but by the time the transaction is completed, we have developed a friendship. I am a designated relocation specialist and have worked with clients all over the world. I also have a designation as an internet marketing specialist.

I moved to Seattle over 20 years ago and reside in Magnolia. My previous background was in Human Resources for 20 years. I am originally from South Carolina where I received a B.S. degree in Mathematical Sciences with a Biology Option from Clemson University. I also have lived in Charlotte, NC. Seattle is a fabulous place to live and there are so many options for activities to do.

Community Involvement

Community involvement is an important part of my life! It is rewarding and fulfilling and important for me to give back! I am currently on the board of Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation, Inc. which is an organization which provides scholarships to academically outstanding United States citizens studying to complete their degrees in science, medicine and engineering, thereby contributing to the worldwide advancement of science and technology. Over the last 28 years, ARCS has contributed over $8.9 million to the UW in support of graduate fellows. As an ARCS member, I have served as VP of College and University Relations, Student Liaision Coordinator, Auction Co-Chair, Alumni Tracking Coordinator, Membership Committee and Advisor to College and University Relations Committee . I was a member of the Greater Seattle Chapter of The Links, Inc. where I held the office of President, Chaired International Trends & Services Committee, Chaired the Ways & Means Committee and Treasurer. I served on the Board of Trustees for The Lakeside School for six years, Sustainer in the Junior League of Seattle and Past President for O'Dea High School's Mothers' Club. I have served on Patrons of Northwest Civic, Cultural and Charitable Organizations Board (PONCHO), Seattle Symphony Musicians Pension Fund Committee, Nelson Mandela Dinner Committee, YWCA Board and Northern Trust Advisory Board, co-chair of the 2010 Treehouse Luncheon. Treehouse is an organization which gives foster children a childhood and a future. I am also co-chair of the Jimi Hendrix Park Project.

Customer Promise

One of the reasons I wanted to sell real estate was that it would allow me an opportunity to meet and work with a diverse network of people. I am committed to providing excellent customer service and meeting the needs of my client. My organizational skills and ability to follow through on all aspects of a task are my strengths. I enjoy helping people and am willing to spend the time that it takes to provide total customer satisfaction.

Conclusion

I pride myself in working with a smaller number of clients that will allow me to respond to them personally and timely. Putting clients first is the most important service that I can provide. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and assisting you in successfully accomplishing your goal!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $650K in Lake Forest Park, WA.

Carmen was so amazing throughout our experience right from the first house we looked at through to the one she helped us buy. We still can't believe the deal she negotiated for the house we now own. She has your best interest at heart from the outset.

Many of the professionals we had to deal with (escrow agent, two building inspectors and others) knew Carmen and were so happy for us when they knew she was our agent. All loved dealing with her and her clients and respect the amazing work she does. We agree.

We really felt blessed to have Carmen on our side. Even the seller we bought from said he will use her in the future! If you are looking for an agent who is professional, has wide experience, genuinely pursues your interests while being aware of your limits - you have found her in Carmen. She follows through on everything! EVERYTHING until your purchase is complete and you have keys in your hand!

Thank you Carmen.

Sold a home in 2014.

Carmen really walked us through the home selling process, every step of the way. We did every minor improvement to our house that she asked us to do and it paid off. Not only did our house sell in 4 days, but we got over asking price! Very professional and wonderful to work with.

Bought a home in 2014.

Carmen was VERY responsive when we chose our house. As newly relocated folks, she was able to tell us what we needed to know about various areas, and advise us on the price we should offer. The house appraised at almost 25K more than we paid, so we were happy campers!
