TO BUYERS AND SELLERS
How I Make a Difference For You:
The process of looking for a home is just as important as finally finding the perfect one. And for that process, you need a guide – whether you are a buyer or a seller – to steer you through that maze. You need to get closer than the photos on the internet and get into the houses themselves to see what they feel like. I am always excited to be that guide.
I believe that a good buyer's agent should have the buyer's interest at heart, and I do. I want to help you narrow down what you want in a home, and find one that you can live in for years to come. I will provide accurate information about neighborhoods and markets, and extensive house evaluations.
I believe that a a seller's agent should give the listing a presence and appeal in order to reach a wide range of buyers, and I do. I will walk you through the steps necessary to bring your house to the market. I will use a variety of networks to showcase your home so that the audience is never limited.
I am excited to bring a new idea to the way real estate is bought and sold. After nearly 30 years in real estate, I've developed a strong sense of what's most important to my buyers and sellers. That's why I'm convinced that a one-size-fits-all approach to buying and selling just isn't working. I've taken my years of experience and the valuable insights I've gained from my clients and created my new company, DwellHop.
The size of a real estate company no longer corresponds to the amount of exposure a property has in the marketplace. Thanks to the internet everything has changed. I want our clients to take full advantage of what the internet revolution can do for their real estate needs – that's why DwellHop was created.
At DwellHop we believe that knowledge of the real estate process, choice of service options, and transparency in what you're paying for are the ingredients of a profoundly positive real estate experience for you – which is our ultimate goal.

A Little Background On Me So You Know Where I Am Coming From:
I was raised in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and I moved to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin. I studied political science, and was a few credits away from a degree in 1978 when I met my husband, Steve. Steve ran for the UW, and he became a member of both the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Teams. We were married and my adventures began. I traveled throughout Europe and the United States for Steve's national and international competitions. We made a home-base of over twenty years in McFarland where we raised three sons. From 1980-1992, we also built and designed over fifty homes in the Madison area. My passion and love for building and design led me to become a realtor in 1994, and I consistently enjoy helping people find that special place they can call home.
Steve and I have now been married for more than thirty years, and while our peak running years might be behind us, our adventure years are far from being over. Most recently, we built a home and developed a farm on seventy acres near Highland, Wisconsin. I have created a piece of gardening heaven for myself, and for my friends and clients who receive the literal fruits (and vegetables) of our labor. And as true Wisconsinites who take pride in a local pour, we have also begun planting hops and hope to soon begin brewing our own.
I have a passion and love for building and design, which is what motivates me to help clients find houses that will become homes. My extensive knowledge and experience in real estate, as well as with new construction, allows me to make the buying and selling processes smooth and fun. Finding the right home takes hard work, dedication, detailed follow-through, and above all, communication, and I enjoy every aspect.
