A Little Background On Me So You Know Where I Am Coming From:

I was raised in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and I moved to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin. I studied political science, and was a few credits away from a degree in 1978 when I met my husband, Steve. Steve ran for the UW, and he became a member of both the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Teams. We were married and my adventures began. I traveled throughout Europe and the United States for Steve''''''''s national and international competitions. We made a home-base of over twenty years in McFarland where we raised three sons. From 1980-1992, we also built and designed over fifty homes in the Madison area. My passion and love for building and design led me to become a realtor in 1994, and I consistently enjoy helping people find that special place they can call home.

Steve and I have now been married for more than thirty years, and while our peak running years might be behind us, our adventure years are far from being over. Most recently, we built a home and developed a farm on seventy acres near Highland, Wisconsin. Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $250K in Marshall, WI.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of working with Cathy on multiple real estate transactions - selling two homes and recently buying a home. Each time we've had an outstanding experience, with Cathy working tirelessly on our behalf. I'd recommend Cathy to anyone who's looking to sell or buy a home. In terms of selling, each house we listed with Cathy had accepted offers on them within a week. This was especially impressive with the first home we listed in the fall of 2010 - as it was done during a very difficult market period. The second we listed in 2013 went even more quickly. In each case, Cathy gave great and specific advice on the updates/fixes we needed to get our house in selling condition. If you listen and follow her advice, your house will sell at a fair price. She's the only realtor I'd work with in the Madison area and I'd give her six stars if I could for extra credit!  More Less

Cathy was a pleasure to work with! She is extremely responsive responding to emails, and doesn't hesitate to pick up the phone and call you either. Her honesty regarding properties and neighborhoods was excellent, and her flexibility is unmatched. Cathy truly paid attention to our likes and dislikes when looking for a new home, and worked diligently to find us our perfect match. We were moving from N.C., where the market is very different then WI, she maintained contact with us for months, and helped us stay positive.
