We moved to Texas five years ago thinking that we would be living close to my husband's work near Campbell and Preston. We ended up in Wylie after looking at about three other different areas in between. Throughout the process, Chad was very patient with us, and seemed intent on making sure that we got in a house that we liked rather than just getting in a house. He wasn't showing us houses that were listed by his agency that did not meet our specifications, as many people in the real estate business do. I previewed all of the properties while my husband was at work, so Chad had to do double duty on those that I liked. That didn't seem to make a difference to him. He was always polite and eager to meet our demands. Chad was acting in the capacity of a buyer's agent for us (very important) rather than as a Realtor whose client is actually the seller. My husband is of the opinion that real estate agents are like used car salesmen on overdrive, because there is a lot more money involved in selling a house than selling a car. However, my husband does not characterize Chad in this fashion--a distinction that he does not make for almost everyone else in the real estate business. When we put our house up for sale next year, we will be using Chad to represent us.
