Hi, my name is Chad and I'm Zillow's Director of Finance and Controller. I watch Zillow's bottom line and am probably the cheapest person at the Company lol (which is a good fit for my role). I'm a CPA which means I'm good with numbers but terrible with this sort of stuff...so I'll keep the intro brief. I love working at Zillow because I'm constantly challenged with creating new processes and controls, developing the financial crystal ball and engaging with all the smart and fun peeps we have working here.I'm originally from Hong Kong - yes, China. I grew up there and then moved to the U.S. just before junior high. I lived in Los Angeles for much of my life, but also spent a lot of time in Silicon Valley, Boston, Melbourne Australia and I've been in Seattle since mid-2006. Before I was at Zillow, I worked for Ticketmaster (please don't hate me) and Ernst & Young.I live in Ravenna with my wife, Jackie and our naughty Senegal Parrot, Bugsy and Vito, our mini-schnauzer.
