Before Chantel became a real estate professional, she earned a bachelors degree in Mathematics from Virginia Wesleyan College and proceeded to teach at Cox High School for several years. However, her desire for limitless potential and better hours resulted in a highly lucrative career in real estate. Along with natural charisma, her educational back round and teaching experience helped pave the way for a successful real estate and administrative team.

      Listed, but didn't sell my home in 2012.
      Our only marketing material was the printout from the MLS listing! Nothing was creative to even market. After the agent got our listing, all they would push for was to keep lowering the price and short sell drastically way below the city assessment. They never even let us know when a visiting realtor would show the place as we would find business cards left behind. They even lost all four keys and never found nor replaced the set. Said they would send a $10 certificate to Lowe's to cut new keys and this never surfaced. Boy, did we learn to find a personal recommendation of someone that KNOWS the area the property is in, than to listen to advertising claims.  MoreLess

      Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in Norfolk, VA.
      I bought a house summer 2012 with Chantel Ray. The Chantel Ray Real Estate Agent provided a home inspection and home warrenty. The first big storm came in the fall 2012 and the roof leaked. Three different roofers informed me that the roof is in bad repair and it is about 15 years old. I showed each roofer the home inspection report and informed him the real agent stated that the roof is "Near New." All three roofers informed me that is not true. I asked the real estate agent for specific information about the roof before I bought the house. He informed me that the couple selling the house were divorcing and there was no communication. I found out later that that story was completely untrue. The Chantel Ray Real Estate Agent directly misinformed me. So much for believing a man at his word. Disheartened and in need.  MoreLess
