Charlene Hamilton

After spending most of her early years in the Boston, Massachuesetts  area, Charlene traveled south to Atlanta, Georgia, where she met her future husband, Don, an accomplished chef.  Don's career took them to various cities across the country, from Floridia to California, as they constantly searched for that perfect place to settle and raise a family.

While living in Chicago, an opportunity arose to relocate to the Reno/Tahoe area, where they had previously lived and where their son, Cody, was born.  They realized how much they loved the quality of life in Northern Nevada and jumped at the chance to live again where they could enjoy a life of professional work while experiencing the beauty of the Sierra Mountains.

Reno has become a gateway to many exciting adventures for Charlene and her family since they have returned to work and play in "America's Adventure Place."  Where else could they hike, fish, ride horseback or parasail in breathtakingly beautiful areas such as the Virginia City Highlands or Lake Tahoe...all within minutes from home?

Short vacations are also a part of life for Charlene when she takes a break from her real estate business and fundraising events for Cody's school and Boy Scout Troop.  Living in Reno allows for quick access to great resort locations such as Las Vegas, Mexico or Alaska, but her favorite is a quick trip "over the hill" to beautiful Napa Valley to enjoy good wines and great friends. 

Charlene and her family also enjoy those times of the year when Northern Nevada comes alive with local festivities such as the Reno Balloon Races, the Reno Air Races, the Reno Rodeo or Hot August Nights...the ultimate collection of America's automobiles, all nationally renowned events.

As nice as these trips are, they still proudly call their home their paradise.
