Charles is a real pro. Before the sale of my home finalized, several roadblocks popped up. Charlie never waivered, he had a tremendous understanding of the process and helped guide me every step of the way. He was always available and quick to respond to my requests. I would go out of my way to recommend Charlie to anyone who was looking to buy or sell.…MoreLess
Response from Charles
Charlie helped me purchase a vacant lot that I had been wanting to purchase for YEARS! His intervention was extremely fortuitous to say the least. I wanted a quick transaction and I believe that one week from our meeting to the title company sending the papers to the County Recorders office certainly met that requirement, don't you think?
His patience with me (I get a little dense at times) and willingness to take the time to explain each step along the way and answer all my phone calls and questions was fantastic!!
Thank you Charlie ... A WHOLE BUNCH! :-)…MoreLess

09/19/2012 - user0932108Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in Boulder Creek, CA.
We met Charles by luck but in actuality, I can truly say we were lucky to have met him!! We were viewing different properties for sale, and at the very last one on the list, he was also viewing the property for a prospective buyer. We spoke, he gave us a card and from the first conversation, we immediately felt at ease with him.
We contacted him by phone and expressed that we had some special requests that we needed him to take into consideration. After discussing some particulars, he began sending me an email with prospective properties immediately, keeping in mind those conditions and always striving to make sure he maintained our best interest. Once we decided which properties we were interested in, we set up a tour of all of them on a short notice. in fact, there were several times I asked him to view properties on short notice and he was able to gain access to them quite quickly, working into whatever schedule was convenient for us. Before we visited the possibilities, he always did some research, letting us know of any potential reasons we may want to skip over our preliminary choices taking into account our aforementioned conditions; regardless, he always stood by the ready to help us view any property we were interested in.
We eventually decided to purchase a home and after Charles' effective advice and negotiation, we settled on an agreed price with the seller and their agent. Because the sale of the home would be a short sale, there were many procedural pitfalls and delays; through it all, not only was Charles knowledgeable, communicative, and forthright, he also assisted the sellers agent who had not done a short sale previously. As one major condition we faced was that we had to move by a certain date, he facilitated the process with expert precision, never losing sight of our deadline. In fact, whenever something seemed to be taking longer than normal, he immediately interfaced with the seller's agent which most often ended up in immediate results!
During each milestone of the process, Charles was quite effective at explaining things, furnishing approximate timelines and putting us at ease. His communications were always clear, in simple terms that were easily understood and never condescending. Furthermore, his availability for on-the-spot communication was excellent, in whatever medium available at the time - phone, instant messaging, or email!
In summation, I would strongly recommend Charles to anyone who might be interested in selling or buying real estate. He is intelligent, motivated, knowledgeable, and above all, very trustworthy.…MoreLess

I spent 25 years in the software industry. The first five were in software engineering at a UNIX operating system compay. The next 20 years were in sales, marketing and consulting. My experience working in sales and marketing has come in handy when negotiating with lenders and servicers. In my opinion, the best approach when negotiating is to develop a business case or value proposition that is more attractive than any other solution. This way, the parties in the negotiation walk away from the table as winners, establishing a true win-win outcome.
