Charlie happened to be the seller's agent of the house I bought. I had an unexpected problem in getting my loan at the last minute. My agent couldn't help but Charlie did find a good mortgagor for me and I was able to buy the house. After 5 years, I sold the same house. Of course I chose Charlie. This time, again, he did a very good job. We were able to sell the house only in 2 days on the market at a good price. His strengths are his knowledge, experience, human network and professionalism. It was very important for me that he knew professional and good people (mortgagor, carpenter, handy man, etc.) to make your house look beautiful and functional before you sell it. This time he found me a very nice, polite excellent quality carpenter and a handy man. Selling a house is not an easy thing because there are always a lot of troubles between the buyer and sometimes neighbors and attorneys. In fact, it is my opinion that it's most important how smoothly and wisely your agent can deal with the problems. Charlie has a nice personality and intelligence as well as a strong negotiation ability that can do it. I was very lucky to be able to get to know him. : )

We recently bought a new home in Newton, MA and worked with Charlie. He is wonderful to work with. He quickly got a feel for what we liked, and was extremely knowledgeable - about neighborhoods, streets, architecture and the homes themselves. Over time, we began to rely very heavily on his insights and perspective.
In addition, our search spanned about a year and a half for a variety of reasons, and Charlie was extremely patient and understanding! Not once were we made to feel that we needed to make a decision just to get it over with, and we really appreciated that.

Charlie helped us to sell our condo in Newton during a tough market in the fall of 2010. We appreciated his efforts to get our unit prepared and staged. He did a great job preparing an attractive brochure and mailing. He was responsive to all of our questions and emails throughout the process. He hosted several open houses and also tried extremely hard to be present at all of the showings. He was also good with following up on potential buyers. We ended up having to drop our price a couple times before we were able to find a buyer -- probably more a reflection of the weak market than misjudgement or poor advice in the first place. In the end, it was good experience and we would highly recommend Charlie.
