As a third generation San Franciscan, Cheryl feels fortunate to have been raised in such a diverse, exciting city as San Francisco. Her fascination with S.F. real estate started at a young age. By her early twenties she had purchased her first home and learned firsthand the rewards of sweat equity.

A subsequent purchase was a five unit property in the Sunnyside where she quickly became engrossed with San Francisco's complicated and ever changing rent control laws from a property owner perspective. This experience has proven invaluable not only for the successful management of her property but for her investor clients who rely on her vast rental experience to help them successfully fill their vacant units with well qualified tenants. The system she's been consistently using since 1997 has resulted in a track record of zero evictions!

Cheryl enjoys working with a variety of clients ranging from first time home buyers, sellers, investors & commercial clients. She firmly believes in the tremendous benefits of owning real estate including the tax incentives, the gradual building of wealth and the satisfaction of being a property owner. As a Peninsula resident, she has the added experience of helping clients who are relocating between S.F. and the Peninsula.

She takes pride in helping clients navigate through the sale or purchase of a property, negotiating the best price and terms, as well as ensuring that all the details will be smoothly handled.

In her free time, Cheryl enjoys raising orchids, practicing yoga, learning kiteboarding, golfing, hiking with her dogs, renovating her Spanish Revival home in Burlingame, and enjoying the fantastic restaurants available in San Francisco and on the Peninsula.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.0M in San Mateo Village, San Mateo, CA.

We are happy to be writing this review from our new home! Cheryl came highly recommended and lived up to her great reputation. Cheryl provides a special balance of calm guidance and aggressive work ethic that is rare to find.

During our search to find our home, she was always patient in providing her support and never made us feel pressured. She answered all our questions, no matter how silly or trivial. She even removed the stress of accommodating our busy schedules and work travel by providing documents online and arranging meetings in person or over the phone.

Cheryl also comes with her amazing resources. Her recommendations for home inspectors, loan offices, handymen, house cleaners, and electricians were invaluable. Looking back, having Cheryl and this entire team of experts made our experience wonderful.

All this resulted in closing our new home even faster than planned! We consider Cheryl our real estate agent, but also our friend!

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.4M in Redwood City, CA.

Cheryl worked tirelessly throughout our multi month process, always adapting to whatever pace our schedules accommodated - never pressuring when we got busy and always ready with homes to tour when we had a moment. She did a great jib understanding our complex needs and fielding opportunities from us or sourcing her own sites and turning around disclosure packet review on a dime so we didn't need to thumb through hundreds of pages of documents ourselves. Her keen use of tech meant she was always just a text away and we actually closed on the house in our phones using Docusign. This was a nice touch. She handled all discussions with contractors, escrow, title company, seller's agent, and our loan provider with aplomb and didn't just vanish when the same went through but continues to help ensure that we are getting settled in and making this the home we really want to live in. It was a long journey to get our home but we love it and it is thanks to Cheryl.  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $850K in Menlo Park, CA.

Words cannot express how happy my partner and I are with finding Cheryl. Moving to the Bay Area from out of state, we were facing the daunting task of finding a home in a very tight housing market in an unknown region, but Cheryl guided us efficiently and expertly through the whole home buying process.

Cheryl's vast knowledge of the market and region helped us immensely with determining what sort of home to bid on and when. We also quickly learned that Cheryl was a "one stop shop" - whether it was dealing with finances, inspections, or reviewing HOA paperwork - each person on Cheryl's team was thorough, diligent, and a pleasure to deal with.

Another joy of working with Cheryl was her use of electronic communications. Both my partner and I are "techies", so we really appreciated this aspect. Cheryl was very responsive via email, SMS texting, or phone calls. She also utilized an electronic document signing service, which made the huge task of document reviewing and signing a breeze. We could even review and sign documents while away from home on our iPad's.

We were not new to the home buying experience. This is the first time we both felt extremely happy with our Realtor when it came down to the negotiations. Cheryl knocked the ball right out of the park.

We can't recommend Cheryl enough. Should you find a need for a Realtor in the Bay Area, look no further than to Cheryl. Your expectations will be exceeded.
