My husband and I are commitment phobes!.... We are slow to enter into relationships, slow to make any big decisions, and slow on making moderate to large purchases. Our excellent buyer's agent, Christina Rumbaugh, did not try to change this about us. Instead, she gave us time, space, and a wealth of knowledge and resources to help us feel comfortable with what could be a daunting process of buying a home. Over the course of many months, Christina brought us to countless houses throughout many intown neighborhoods. She provided us with historical and recent real estate data so that we could be familiar with the intown market, and set realistic expectations for our first home ownership experience. Christina never made us feel rushed, and never pressed us beyond our comfort zone. Once we were ready to make serious inquiries about houses, we were confident about our decision-making because of all the preparation we underwent. The single most important factor to me was that we made a smart purchase. And the best part about this experience is that we are fully confident about our purchase. It feels great to be in a position where we are not second guessing our decision at all! For that, we have Christina and her excellent network to thank! I highly recommend Christina as a buyer's agent, particularly for people who are new to the area and/or are first-time home-buyers. And if we choose to purchase another home in the future, we will definitely call Christina.

Christina was our buyer agent for our first home in Decatur, GA (closed Mar 2013) I almost never write reviews, but I am so impressed and happy with my relationship with Christina that I want to tell everyone. My wife and I moved to Atlanta in August 2012, rented a house in Decatur area, and immediately started learning about purchasing a house and looking into the ATL neighborhoods. We chose Christina because we were looking for a buyer's agent and also based on her reviews. Christina was incredible in her patience and understanding with our schedule. We wanted to spend a considerable amount of time 'browsing' different neighborhoods and learning the land. She worked with our pace, showed us different areas, loaded us with great information and gave us time to digest the information. She was never pushy and was always there for us when we were ready to take the next steps. When we did decide to start making offers, she was quick and stayed ahead of the game with following up on properties we were interested in. It was insane how quickly value-priced homes went under contract, but she was on point the entire time and we never missed an opportunity. When she had a family emergency, she quickly brought a fellow colleague in to handle us. When we went under contract with a house, we used all of her contacts (home inspection, structural engineer, pest control, plumber, loan officer, flood insurance agency, etc.) and they were all A+. Her networks of contacts are impeccable. WE CLOSED IN 2 1/2 WEEKS! (results may vary...you, the buyer must quickly supply all the required info). I recommend Christina Rumbaugh 100%.

I was a first-time home buyer and I contacted Christina to help me with my search. She was very knowledgeable about the areas of town as well as the type of home I wanted (a loft) and she helped me find the perfect place. She also made the home buying experience very smooth by offering advice and making sure I was on track throughout the offer, final walk-through, financing and closing steps. I would definitely recommend Christina to family and friends, especially first-time buyers and those who are looking to buy a place in town.

Christina was tremendous! She has great expertise of the intown Atlanta market and that quickly enabled us to become focused buyers. Christina has a true passion for homes of all kinds and an extensive knowledge of architecture and spotting a quality build. She was available and made her team available to make our home buying process as thorough and as pleasant possible. She's patient and intuitive, kind and yet, a fierce negotiator. We got a solid price and we are perfectly settled in our new home. Such an amazing experience.

My Wife and I were first time home buyers, new to the area and had a limited amount of time to find a home in an area we knew nothing about. Someone in my wife’s office recently purchased a home in Midtown and recommended Christina as a buyer’s agent. She immediately went to work helping us explore our options. She was tireless in finding houses that met our criteria despite the fact that our criteria evolved throughout the process. Once we found the house we loved, Christina had a rolodex full of the area’s top experts to help us through to closing. She is a trusted ally and source of knowledge no matter how many times you have been through the process of purchasing a home. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a home in the Intown Atlanta area.

08/18/2012 - willoughbyhunBought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $200K in East Atlanta, Atlanta, GA.
Christina was amazing. She worked with us for six months in a frenzied housing market to find a house that suited us. Inventory was tight in the neighborhoods around East Atlanta where we wanted to live. Homes were being snapped up before they got on the market, especially ones in our price range.
When the right one came around, Christina was out of the state on a much-deserved vacation.
It was a foreclosure in excellent condition. There were multiple offers within two days of it coming on the market. We had to move fast.
Christina had our back. She worked from 1,000 miles away to make sure we got the house at a price that made sense. Her advice was spot on.
Since it was a foreclosure, dealing with the bank was a roller-coaster ride. She handled it beautifully. When we finally closed, I gave her a big hug. She's now a neighbor and a friend.

07/25/2012 - user3669024Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Tucker, GA.
My wife and I just bought our first home together in Tucker, GA. We started working with Christina at the end of 2011 and really did a full on home search covering the majority of the Metro Atlanta Area. Christina was very patient and understanding of our situation and took the time to help us hone in on exactly what we wanted and needed for our family. She was very knowledgeable about her craft and on the things that she was unsure of, she would research and get us a timely answer on.
She is a straight shooter who is dedicated to the process of making sure that you end up with the property that is right for you. I never understood why it made sense to go with an exlusive buyer's agent, but having one like Christina in your corner fighting to get you your dream home at a fair and reasonable price, has changed my mind forever.
She has gone, what I consider to be, above and beyond for my family and I would highly recommend her for anyone in the market for buying a home. I think she should consider changing her title to "Buyer's Trainer/Coach", because I think I know more about houses and the purchasing process than I ever intended.

We started our journey with Christina in the fall of 2011, finding our dream home in late spring 2012.
My husband and I were searching for a home in the Atlanta metro area having outgrown our townhouse after the birth of our son. Christina was gracious in understanding on those times where babysitters were not available and the little guy had to tag along.
She took the time to understand what our must haves were - school district, yard and office space - and items that were negotiable - newer finishes, garage space. There were several houses that did not meet her standards when the door was opened and we were quickly back on our way again.
Anytime we had questions, Christina was there via text or email with a quick answer, even if it was that she would have to find out and get back to us. We always felt as though we were her only client, which spoke volumes as we knew that was not the case.
After looking at what felt like 100 homes, we found our home. Christina was there throughout the entire process. She inspected the crawl space, yard and attic without hesitation. Her eagle eyes seemed to catch every nuance that we didn't pick up on. She put all of my previous home-buying experience worries at ease and made our closing seamless.
If and when we are in the market to purchase another home, we will use Christina without a doubt.

I used Christina to purchase my primary residence in 2009 and used her again to purchase an investment property in 2012. My main reasons for selecting Christina again to assist with our investment property is her attention to detail and her availability to answer a question or address an issue at a moment’s notice.
With both transactions, Christina was always proactive and made sure deadlines and deliverables were addressed through the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a buyer's agent.
