My husband and I needed to sell our condo in Los Angeles that we were renting to a tenant who was very reluctant to move. We “inherited” her from the previous condo owner. Although my husband and I had spent time talking with her in person, previous to listing this condo, we also talked with her during the listing. We were unable to be in Los Angeles to meet Christine Kim or her colleague Adam Pergament in person during the listing period. Adam, immediately on the onset of our listing, did a professional job in photographing the condo. Almost two years ago, my husband and I moved to California/southern Oregon border, by the Pacific Ocean, a long distance from Los Angeles. This is one of the reasons why I had to depend so much on Christine and Adam, by phone calls and email regarding the sale of our condo. Both were not only quickly responsive to my phone calls or emails, but they would contact me regarding any updates, questions, or additional information. My biggest nightmare was that our tenant would not move from the condo at the time escrow was to close, even with my husband offering her a substantial financial compensation. Both of these agents had an additional job, in many capacities, to work with her. Christine and Adam advised me on our asking price for a quick sale, among other significant advice. Through their expertise and immediate actions to market our condo, it sold quickly. Their advice succeeded! They went far beyond “the call of duty.” I consider both of these agents to be friends. They deserve a much greater commission than what they received. They treated me as though I listed a multi-million dollar home, not a small condo. I feel a spiritual connection with Christine, an extremely caring woman. She, patiently, spent time with me by telephone not only on real estate matters but some personal matters I related to her—as busy as she must be. I am looking forward to meeting these special people in person. It was no coincidence that I first met Christine by phone; God was “looking out” for me!
