Chris was extremely helpful in guiding my wife & I on how to short-sell our house. Out of all of the realtors I contacted, Chris was straight-forward, honest and above-all HELPFUL as I was starting a process I knew nothing about.

Chris Reed was described to us as being able to "sell ice to Eskimos". After meeting with him, we immediately had that vibe. Chris was very knowledgeable about our area, and our neighborhood and was the only agent we interviewed who felt that we should list our house above the "value" listed on the Auditor's website. Not only did Chris get us more than the Auditor's listed value, he managed to sell our home quickly! I would definitely recommend Chris to list your home - he knows his stuff, and is available to talk at all hours of the day and night.
Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2014 in Grove City, OH.
Chris was knowledgeable and professional and helped us get our house on the market immediately (with awesome pictures). Chris was always available to take our calls and provided routine status updates while the house was on the market and during the negotiatiation process. Very much appreciated!

I met Chris Reed about a year and a half ago. We had had on bad experience with another realtor so I looked on Zillow and liked what I saw about Chris and contacted him. Ours was a difficult situation. My husband is ill and we were desperate to move quickly to a warmer climate for his health. Our house was a short sale situation. We knew this would not be easy. But, being the go getter he is Chris and his group took us on. We first tried marketing the house regularly (not a short sale) no takers. So Chris and his group of experts began to help us through the short sale process. It was tedious and difficult for all of us, but Chris's associates hung in there and with great diligence and sacrifice sold our home and it closed just this July 31st. We had already moved south and worried what would happen if it did not sell, but Chris's associate Pete Harper was kind and reassuring and kept at it till he did it. Probably one of the more difficult and self sacrificing sales of their career's. What I found out is there are still realtors out there who generally care about a families situation. Ours was life threatening and because we were able to move to a warmer climate with peace of mind, and knowing we had great people like Chris and Pete working on our behalf it helped take a lot of stress off of what was already a very stressful situation for us. I hope next time I am in need of a realtor I can send something normal their way as they deserve the business. I highly recommend this extraordinary group, their skill is excellent, their genuine caring is refreshing and their professionalism is bar none. If you need a realtor for ANY reason, give these guys a chance they are worth their weight in gold!!! Love you guys and thanks for everything you did for us! Kathy Sizemore

Chris really knows this business inside an out. He was constantly advocating on our behalf, and he taught us things we never even thought to be important when buying a home. He is always working for the benefit of his clients! His personality is bright and he genuinely shared in the happiness of helping us buy our first home. We recommend him to everyone!
Chris was very enthusiastic to help us sell our house! From the start he told us his strategy, explained in detail what he was doing and the reasons, and was quick to get things done. I was very impressed with the photography and suggestions made to sell the home. Chris was very informative and responded promptly with any questions or concerns. His personality was also very uplifting and kept our thoughts positive even though our discouraging selling market at the time. Chris was given our house to sell after already being with another realtor for 6 months and sold it in 35 days! We were very impressed and would recommend him to anyone!

We were first time home buyers relocating from AZ and were on a tight timeline. Chris and his team (specifically Kelly) were great to work with. They moved mountains to get us into all the properties we wanted to see on the 1 weekend we were there to visit. They helped recommended a great loan office and a good home inspector. This process couldn't have gone any smoother. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for a house in Central Ohio.
I worked with Dianne Ratliff of The Reed Group, and she was fantastic throughout the process of looking for a home and working with me through the closing process. I initially went to look at a home thinking I would be working with another realtor. When that opportunity fell through, I called Dianne and am very happy that I did. She was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as fun, throughout the process of looking at homes and then starting the endless paperwork for purchase. She has amazing insight into the possibilities of what a house can be, and that was helpful as I determined what could be done with the home I purchased. Dianne was quick to engage Chris' help when there were issues that needed to be escalated, and all was done in such a timely manner that I was able to close on the desired date, even with a change in lender mid-stream, for which Dianne provided invaluable advice.
I found Chris Reed from looking on Zillow and reading reviews just like these, since we had only lived in the Columbus area for about a year. From the moment I contacted Chris, I knew he was meant to be our realtor. I was honestly a little shocked that he personally answered his phone the very first time I called (as opposed to a different realtor whose office I had contacted, where I left a message with a receptionist and I never even got a call back at all!)
As first-time home buyers, we had a lot of questions, and Chris was there to answer them all and hold our hand throughout the process. It is such a big deal and such a huge decision which will affect your life for years, so it was nice to know that he genuinely asked questions and cared about what was important to US. We were really thankful that he was available every time we needed him; he was always just a phone call or an email away.
Chris was trustworthy from the start, and we knew that he was going to be looking out for us throughout the process. He knew our area well, and pointed out the pros and cons of our house, guiding us to make decisions which led us to the house of our dreams. He made sure that the home inspection's findings were mitigated. I really feel as though we may not have gotten our house without his knowledge and expertise.
Chris is a very busy and hard-working individual, but he genuinely cares about his clients and wants to help them make the best decisions for them. I know we would use Chris again if we ever buy or sell a house in the future, and I would highly recommend him. We also used all of the people and businesses that Chris recommended throughout the home buying process, and we had a positive experience with everyone.
