I suggest you be upfront with the landlord about your situation. Offer to give him/her two months "extra" rent that he can hold in escrow as your last two months rent. This would be in addition to any security deposit which is for damages. Tell them you will pay your rent on time, and if you don't, he has two months rent to cover the time it would take to evict you. That is always a landlord worry, if you don't pay, it takes almost 60 days to evict someone throught the local offices. I have had clients who have had very good success with this approach. Good Luck.
