Sold a Single Family home in 1998 for approximately $300K in West Chicago, IL.
We've used Cindy Banks as both a buyer and seller. Cindy was able to get lots of traffic in to see our previous house and it sold at our asking price. In addition, her team was able to provide numerous financing options on our new home. I would highly recommend Cindy Banks to anyone buying or selling a home in DuPage or Kane counties.

Sold a Single Family home in 2009 in West Chicago, IL.
Cindy did a fantastice job of selling my home in less than 2 months. She was very helpful with suggestions and had people coming thru the house almost constantly. She also helped find my townhouse when I had sold my house. Her advise on the price and everything else was great. Cindy even got the price of my townhouse at a great price. I tell anyone who is trying to sell to call Cindy and she'll get the house sold!

She knows so many people who you will need (inspectors, lawyers, etc) and will make sure the deal happens as needed. She also did a great job of establishing our family's needs to help us focus on what we really wanted

Sold a home in 2009.
Cindy Banks was a key player in my family achieving financial soundness following the passing of my husband in 2009. She priced the property and brought in a buyer interested in the type of property we were offering. Our house sold very quickly at a price higher than the median price for all but two Chicago area suburbs. Cindy and her team took care of everything. All I can claim credit for is following her advice.

My husband and I were very impressed and pleased with the professionalism and care we received from the Cindy Banks team. Cindy was hard working, always available and her attention to detail was incredible. We felt every aspect of buying our home, from inspecting the house, negotiating the price and closing the deal, ran perfectly because of Cindy. I would definitely recommend the Cindy Banks team to my friends and family.

Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2005 in West Chicago, IL.
Cindy was my agent 5 years ago. She did a terrible job on selling my house. I was not willing to seek financing through her husband's bank because I already had financing. So, since I did not participate in the "BANK'S" experience. I didn't deserve her attention to sell my house. After being on the market for 4 weeks she suggested to lower the price. I agreed, but after another four week she suggested to lower the price again, and that is when I suggested that she lower her commission. She didn't respond well to my suggestion. Left her and found another Realtor, and in less than 2 weeks sold my house for the original asking price and bought a house.

My wife and I sold our old house through "The Cindy Banks" experience and bought a new one. She does know how to stage a home's interior and layout for sale, but she likes to list a house low so it moves. That provided very little room for us as the seller to negotiate a final sale price that did not result in a large loss of equity. It was a very frustrating process with her and her subordinate Sarah Leonard and I actually cracked a tooth from the stress of it. We were delegated to work with Sarah after we refused to drop our listing price. When seeing other houses, instead of giving us ideas on where we could negotiate a better price because of an old roof, old HVAC, or old appliances, the viewed property was praised that it was so great and that we needed to keep in mind that we were looking at a "premium lot" or that the landscaping was mature. Plus, we did all the searching for property that we wanted to see and in fact we found the house that we ended up buying. This made us feel like “The Cindy Banks Team” was definitely not working for us or on our side at all. And during the sale of both houses, they were nothing more than go betweens for the negotiation process. They provided little to no input, so I feel like they really did not even come close to earning their commissions. We wished we had signed with another realtor. I would never recommend "The Cindy Banks Team" to anyone, plus her husband totally screwed up our loan approval and we had to go to another lender to get it all straightened out. Nothing like adding a lot more stress to the whole process.
