Ratings & Reviews

Cindy was very helpful in showing our property to its best advantages. She was also very willing to work with prospective buyers to demonstrate how our property would be a wonderful home for them. We had great confidence in her and were not disappointed. We would recommend her to friends seeking to sell their properties and have done so. She brings style and integrity to the process. We would seek her help again in selling our current and buying a future home. Joselle Gagliano and Michael Perman.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Petersburgh, NY.

We would highly recommend Cindy to anyone looking to sell and/or buy in this area! We knew it was time to sell our 19th century farm that we had lovingly restored for 30 years so it was important to us that we find just the right realtor. Cindy was referred to us by another realtor and we are very happy we worked with her. Her enthusiasm and professionalism are boundless. Cindy helped us with advice about staging our home and even hired a professional photographer to promote the house and land. We sold more quickly than we could have imagined and Cindy dove right in to find us a new house. If you need a realtor in this area, call Cindy!

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $200K in Cropseyville, NY.

We put our house on the market with another realtor. We had decluttered, made repairs, added curb appeal and staged our home. And then waited... And waited... And waited. 6 months went past and we had very few showings and no offers. A coworker recommended Cindy and we had her over for a visit. She was professional, energetic and ready to help us out. We had more showings in the first week with her than we had all 6 months with the other realtor! I couldn't beleive the traffic and it wasn't just viewers, we were getting offers! As each offer came in she gave us great honest advice but was always willing to let us make our own informed choices. As I write this our home is due to close in 2 days. I can not believe the difference between these realtors. Night and day! Cindy is the real deal and I've already started spreading the word to any and everyone I know. If you want to sell, if you want someone who knows what they are doing, if you want someone mired in the nuances of the real estate market: go with Cindy!!!

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Chugiak, Chugiak, AK.

I feel sorry for anyone working with this agent. She has no respect for other agents, clients, or basically anyone. She won't answer or return calls and when she does she blames everyone and everything. It must be hard to be so perfect and always right. She wants you to lower price and that is the only thing she does. Sure something will sell when it's a STEAL. The total inability to communicate and lack of returned calls ( OH SHE calls PLENTY when you want to list your home) is a TOTAL lack of consideration and good service.

This review seems to be about another agent with a similar name and maybe a different market (I am not licensed in Alaska=) or perhaps from an agent who is upset with me for some reason. I think if you look at my other reviews you will get a clearer picture of the service I provide. I pride myself on returning phone calls quickly and I have a team to cover for me in my absence. Also I tell my sellers-they are in total control of the price-I am here to advise and suggest only.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Troy, NY.

Cindy is easily the best real estate professional we have ever worked with. She is certainly the best we have encountered here in upstate Eastern New York. Cindy used the internet very effectively. This included preparing a very professional video presentation which we credit with finding the individual who ultimately purchased our property. Remarkably, since the sale took place in the dead of winter and included her shepherding us through the requisite removal of an in-ground oil tank in subzero weather, we doubt any other agent could have performed as well. She was always very courteous and respectful of our wishes. Anyone who needs to sell a property in Rensselaer County would be well advised to contact this lady.

Sold a home in 2013 in East Poestenkill, Averill Park, NY 12018.

Cindy was a friend before becoming our agent. She is still a friend after selling our home. Cindy is definitely knowledgeable in her profession. She knows all the in and outs of selling and buying of real estate. Most importantly Cindy is there for her clients. She helped us "stage"our home with decorating pointers, the taking of pictures, and furniture layout. Pricing of a home, as Cindy pointed out to my wife and I, is dependent upon many factors. Cindy is knowledgeable of all of these for the market the property is located within, whether it be quality of schools, taxes, commuting time to shopping or work or the pricing of similar properties in the market. Cindy also kept abreast of the time on the market, number of inquiries, showings, etc. and reported back to my wife and I weekly. Based on these factors decisions were made regarding price changes, open houses and advertising strategies. Cindy has been able to"network" with her fellow agents in the area which is a definite asset to her clients. Cindy has worked very hard to continually educate herself in her chosen profession and not rest on her laurels.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Stephentown, NY.

My husband and I had a beautiful home in the mountains in Stephentown NY. We were immediately impressed with Cindy when we met her at our home. She was organized, direct, helpful, creative and thoughtful. No malarkey! It took a while to sell our home, as it is in a rural area and log/ post and beam contemporary requiring buyers with our taste in homes. Cindy worked diligently to market our home. Without her expertise and hard work, we would not have sold our house. My husband was impressed by her work ethic, honesty, and market knowledge. If you get to know Cindy, you will like and respect her like we do. Our pups fell in love with her too!

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Hoag Corners, East Nassau, NY 12062

I called Ms. McMahon to inquire about one of her listings. She was completely unfamiliar with the property. When I asked some additional questions regarding the state of the property, she became belligerent, yelled at me, and then proceeded to hang up on me.

Completely unprofessional. It is no wonder the property in question has lingered on the market for over a year.

Zillow connects callers with properties that are not the listing agents from time to time. This caller stated that I was not doing my job because I did not know what type of wiring was inside of the walls of an old farmhouse and went on about what I should know. He is correct: I did hang up on him. My other reviews speak volumes about my professionalism.
