Having grown up in Eastern Oregon and graduated from Pine Eagle High School in Halfway,  I have an intimate knowledge of the Hells Canyon area from both a professional and personal perspective. My diverse back ground has allowed me to help my clients in more ways than in just purchasing or selling their home.

I owned and operated my own Construction company for thirteen years. This back ground in construction and financing allows me to put my knowledge to work for the benefit of my clients.  Having grown up and raised my own three children here in Baker County, I have a well-rounded knowledge of what it takes to raise your family or build a successful business here in Northeast Oregon.

My back ground includes five years as a back office nurse, thirteen years as owner/operator of a communications construction company and six years as a Professional Real Estate Broker.

I chose to raise my family in Baker County and hope to retire at home near Richland, Oregon.  I and my family love the abundant recreation offered here from mushroom hunting in the spring to deer hunting in the fall.  I enjoy fishing in the local streams and lakes, boating, 4-wheeling, gardening, and just enjoying the beautiful scenery.

I love being a Real Estate Broker as it has allowed me to assist first time home buyers get into their first home, investors find those great deals or to find the perfect retirement home for those seeking to take advantage of our great retirement friendly community.

Bought a home in 2013.

Cindy is AWESOME. We were moving from out of state and originally thought we'd be moving to Baker. Cindy spent an entire weekend with my husband showing him houses there, only to find a month later that we were actually going to be based out of La Grande! Cindy took it in stride; she was happy to schedule video tours for us, even though it was a little farther away. When I did finally come up for a house-hunting trip, Cindy again reserved her whole weekend just for me, and had an organized list of all the houses I had requested to see. Her background in contracting came in REALLY handy when we saw a house with a crumbling foundation (it literally fell off in pieces when we touched it); she is definitely not one of those agents who just wants to push a sale. I really felt that she cared about helping me find the right home for ME; as soon as I fell in love with the home we ended up purchasing, she said that she paid attention to my face during all the other showings. "You didn't light up at ALL the way you lit up at the first house," she said.

When it came time to make an offer (which we had to do from out-of-state), she was firm but not pushy about what a reasonable offer might be. I am a bargain hunter to the core, so when she recommended we offer the asking price, I was a little taken aback. "But, is it overpriced?" I asked. Within a few hours she had sent me a list of 6 months worth of comps, showing me that we were actually getting the house for a GREAT deal. "Plus," she said. "You clearly love this house. Don't make an offer based on what you think another offer might come in at. Make an offer based on what this house is worth to you...." GREAT advice, Cindy.

We are now happily moved in (or moving in, rather... unpacking takes FOREVER!) and I am SO happy we had such a supportive real estate agent to help us get here. I would recommend Cindy again and again. Like I said, she's just awesome.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $75K in Baker City, OR.

She was strongly recommended to my husband and I by a realtor in La Grande, Oregon, who confirmed that Cindy was a realtor with integrity and we could trust her to do the best for us. We were moving to Baker City and wanted a good agent. Cindy met with us at an inconvenient time for her because of our schedule, but she made herself available even though it meant she had to travel 45 miles each wayce when she was off work. She was pleasant and helpful through a tedious transaction with a Bank Owned property.

We were pleased with her service and commitment to helping us through the difficult process and made it so much better by keeping us informed until the final closing. She went above and beyond to make the process as painless as possible. Keeping us informed helped ease the anxiety of this type of transaction. I have bought and sold real estate many times and would highly recommend Cindy as a reliable, honest, and very helpful and informed realtor. I am a title manager with a local title company and have had lots of contact and experience with realtors of all types. Cindy is definitely at the top of my list.
