Which would you rather do: look for a real estate agent, or get a root canal?

If you answered "root canal", I fully understand. It seems like there are practically as many real estate agents in LA as there are houses in LA. (crazy, right?) But here's the thing. I have some unique and unusual skills, experiences, and ideas that make me unlike any other agent around.

For starters, I was a touring drummer for fifteen years in rock bands, living in and out of hotels and tour buses. (Trust me; it's not as glamorous as you think.) After so many years on the road, I've developed a passion for not just finding a place to live, but finding the perfect home.

in 2004 I started applying that passion to real estate.  My business has sky-rocketed. Here's are some of the things you can expect from me:

How to style your house, and show it to its maximum advantage (in many cases undertaking major construction to achieve this)
How to market your property to attract the highest number of key buyers. How to skillfully and ethically negotiate for your maximum sales price. Provide you with a contractor, handyman, plumber, landscaper etc. I have crews that work exclusively for me
Bring in a designer, (Stager) who can pinpoint what needs to happen in your home to attract the most people, and gain the emotional edge.

Finally, let's be honest… if we're working together, we'll be spending a lot of time together in person and on the phone. Bought a Single Family home in 2010 in Chevy Chase, Glendale, CA.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.225M in Valley Village, North Hollywood, CA.

With the purchase of our second house, we were looking for the perfect match in a realtor. Determined, experienced, calm under pressure, a great backboard for our hopes, dreams and nervousness, a talented negotiator and a willing therapist.

We were not in a hurry to move, and were willing to wait for our dream home (I don't know if he anticipated that we'd look for 18 months!). He was always quick to show us something new, patient as we refined our needs and wants, and gifted in his personal relationships with other agents (don't under estimate the importance of this - time and time again we'd go into an open house and the seller's agent was quick to want to work with Steve - this could be the difference of you getting a fair look at your offer or it not even being shared with the seller's). Without hyperbole, he was the exact match we needed.

I consider myself fortunate to have a realtor as talented as Steve to recommend (and I do, every chance I get).
