I highly recommend Steve Clark as an agent if you're looking to buy or sell a home. Amazing follow thru, good negotiator, and easy going. He and his associate Julia Allos were available throughout the process and worked hard to close the transaction smoothly. If you're looking to buy or sell, especially in Pasadena, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Steve's guidance throughout the process of buying our first house helped my husband and I stay focused and positive. We were lucky to have someone knowledgable who we could trust by our side. This was especially important during negotiations. We bid on two houses, and were successful on the second. With the purchase of our second house, we were looking for the perfect match in a realtor. Determined, experienced, calm under pressure, a great backboard for our hopes, dreams and nervousness, a talented negotiator and a willing therapist.

We were not in a hurry to move, and were willing to wait for our dream home (I don't know if he anticipated that we'd look for 18 months!). He was always quick to show us something new, patient as we refined our needs and wants, and gifted in his personal relationships with other agents (don't under estimate the importance of this - time and time again we'd go into an open house and the seller's agent was quick to want to work with Steve - this could be the difference of you getting a fair look at your offer or it not even being shared with the seller's). Without hyperbole, he was the exact match we needed.

I consider myself fortunate to have a realtor as talented as Steve to recommend (and I do, every chance I get).

Steve is a ROCKSTAR!! No seriously, he is. He used to tour and play in bands. But he's a rockstar real estate agent as well. He just helped my wife and I buy our first home and I can honestly say that it would not have happened without him. Steve met with us and took time to understand where we were at financially, what we were looking for in a home, and always stopped to explain certain things that us first time homeowners were clueless about. The competitive market in NELA can be quite intimidating, and Steve helped us navigate it all with ease and confidence. Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2014 in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, CA.

My family and I recently had a home in the Silverlake area by Steve Clark, senior partner of Deasy, Penner, and Clark. It was such a wonderful experience that surpassed all of our expectations and more. Steve was referred to us by a close family friend because of his personal and business relationship he had with Steve. He had me at our first introduction. Steve had a cool confidence about him, and I could see that his wheels were already turning. He had a partial game plan by the end of our short meet. By our second meeting, he had a precise game plan. The thing that I most appreciated most was that the #1 consideration was my family and especially me, because I was still living in the home. He ran everything by me so that nothing in the plan was intrusive or inconvenient for me. By this time, I figured that my job was just to get out of his way and let him work his magic. This is not my parents' real estate market, this is 2014. Deasy, Penner, and Clark seems to have it all together in terms of what the market is today. State of the art everything, a huge network of contacts, social media, and a fantastic team behind them. They took care of everything, from the sale of the house, to helping me move. From the photo shoot, to the expert cleaning crew they sent. Special thanks to Alex, Julia, and all the unsung and unseen people who made my life easier.

Steve Clark was recommended to me by a friend who had purchased in the Silverlake neighborhood. When I mentioned to my friend that I was looking for a house, he said, "You must work with Steve Clark. Not only is he the best agent one can get, but he will end up being one of your best friends after all is said and done."

I must admit, my friend was completely spot on. Steve is professional, proactive and sensitive to the pressures and fears that go along with being a first time buyer. He made the process quick and painless and was in constant communication with me the entire time, often explaining things several times to me when I was confused by the process. Steve certainly put my mind at ease. He wasn't trying to find me the most expensive house in order to take a commission, he was interested in helping me find the house that was right for me and my lifestyle.

I would recommend Steve to anyone looking to find a home, whether it's their first or they are a veteran homeowner. He is a joy to be around and I am happy to say that in addition to owning my first home, I now have a great friend in Steve Clark. Happy Hunting!

Sold a Condo home in 2013 in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, CA.

In 2008, we were living in India on assignment for 2 years and our son was living in an apartment in Hollywood. He had begun his life in LA and it was time to find him a more permanent home.

Our son began to look for a small house or condo and would send us information from his search. It was good fortune that he found Steve Clark. He gave our 19 year old son real attention in his search. Our daughter met Steve on a trip to LA and Steve took both of our children under his wing and began to educate them about Silver Lake and about the market and it’s potential. Following a phone call, I too felt Steve was someone I could trust in this important task. He wasn't just helping our son find a home to buy: he was representing us in the transaction. He could bond and communicate with our son and his interests while, at the same time, keeping our interests for identifying a home that was well maintained, affordable and had potential.

Steve identified several potential properties and I flew out from Bangalore to see them. I arrived bedraggled and sick. Steve gave me tea and tissues and began the process of educating me about a market that I was unfamiliar with. Then we began the process of elimination and identification. Steve guided our decisions with grace and professionalism. He was at once personal and professional. We didn’t find that perfect home on that visit… but one did come up shortly after my return to India. He sent us photos, had physical inspections completed, answered questions, handled all of the paperwork and countless details via fax, phone and email. Our friends and family found it hard to believe that we bought a house ‘long distance’ without ever having seen it, except n our PCs. We had no hesitation; such was our confidence and trust in Steve.

Once the house closed, Steve remained involved and extraordinarily helpful. Five years later, our son was ready to make a new move. Steve supervised extensive repairs following a flood in the house while our son was on tour. The renovation was completed by contractors Steve chose. He managed every step of that process and then we listed the house and Steve sold it before the Open House was scheduled!

True to his focus and professionalism, Steve found our son the next great home and orchestrated purchase and move .....all while our son was still out on tour! What a guy!

There are no higher words of praise that we can offer. This man is a wizard. And he is one of the kindest, most honest and personable individuals you will ever have the good fortune to meet.

A few months into our home search, my wife and I were frustrated with agents not really listening to us when we would tell them what we were looking for (as we had very specific needs in a home). At the peak of our frustration we ran into Steve Clark.

Instantly, Steve made a genuine effort to understand who we are and what we are interested in/looking for. We developed more than a business relationship with Steve as we felt like he was really joining us in the search for a home. He has a solid understanding of architectural styles and decor (this was a very real problem with previous agents....mid-century modern is not 1979) and really knows his Los Angeles neighborhoods!

It took a little time to officially purchase a home as the market is incredibly competitive right now, but with Steve's help we found the perfect home and we couldn't be happier! We are so happy to have found Steve, and we feel like we would still be crammed into a tiny apartment if it weren't for him. Such a great guy, we really wish we could give him 6 stars here, because that's what he deserves.
