I was lookingto buy a home, pre-approved for a mortgage with very good credit and a down payment. Clint showed me a house that I was very interested in, and ready to put an offer on as soon as I got a few questions answered. Over the course of a month, I did not get answers from him. I e-mailed him fairly basic questions about the house, and he responded, "the sellers can answer those questions." Since I had no way to get in touch with the sellers, I asked him again to pass the questions on, and get back to me. He never did. He said that he would look into internet access availability, but didn't give us any actual data. He told us the house we were looking at had been purchased for the asking price 1 year ago, even though the public record showed that it had been sold for $10,000 dollars less. He told me that there wouldn't be negotiations. He also told me that I should not use my own agent (whom I know and trust), but that I should put an offer directly through him. He was a little bit pushy and talked a lot, but had a difficult time listening to or acknowledging my questions or concerns. I would not work with Clint again, unless perhaps I were interested in a home he was the listing agent for.

I am very disappointed that you are so frustrated over being out bid on this particular home. After looking at the home with me and then making your offer via a buyer’s agent, you introduced a time frame element that left an opportunity for other agents and their buyers to view the home and make offers. When you met with me to view the house, I let you know that time was important. During that time in which you were asking questions, which were answered, another buyer made an offer which was $19,000 more than your initial offer. Also, remember that we did give you the chance to buy it for the same price as the competing bid. This was simply because I personally had met you and took a personal liking to you and Charles. In summary: The sellers instructed me to accept he higher offer. You had decided it was not in your best interest to pay as much as the competing buyer. That is perfectly acceptable and we are glad you did what you thought was best for you.

Bought a home in 2014 in Bethel, Coldwater, MI 49036.

Currently, I'm still working with Mr. Maki and we are in the property appraisal process. We are on track to close on mid-month October 2014. He was very thorough showing the home and allowing us to answer questions about anything concerning the home and the town it is located in. Most of our concerns were centered around the age of the home and the stability of the home and whether it could pass a VA inspection.

Sold a home in 1995.

Clint Maki has been involved in one way or another with every real estate transaction we've done since 1995. He originally sold our home for us in '95; later, when we were ready to invest in income properties, he handled the transaction end (we're do-it-yourselfers and had chosen the properties on our own). We eventually sold those properties with his help, sold our own home and bought another, and have since purchased 4 single family income properties and an office building. Clint is always the realtor we call when we're ready to buy or sell.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Coopersville, MI.

Our family sold and purchased a home using Clint Maki. Our house sold in 24 hours! He helped us more than I have time to explain. He knew of all of our hopes, dreams, needs and expectations and made everything come true. I can't thank him enough for making our famlies dream come true!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Westside Connection, Grand Rapids, MI.

I have used Clint to buy 8 - 10 homes and to sell 4 - 5 of them. I have been using Clint for over 20 years and have always gotten great service.

With housing prices going up and down so much in the past few years you don't want to pay to much for your purchase and Clint is very good at helping get homes for the lowest price.
