Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $400K in Virginia Village, Denver, CO.
My fiancé and I could not have had a better experience selling and buying a home than with Colin. We worked together over many months and he was instrurmental in helping us make many key decisions. We originally were thinking of renting our home because we were concerned that our area needed more time to develop before getting the price we were hoping for. With a keen stragedy and helpful advice, Colin was able to sell our home for a price we didn't believe was attainable.

When it came to finding our new home, Colin was diligent and patient. We were considering several areas of town that required extensive searches and covering a lot of ground. In the end, he found us the perfect home in a neighborhood that suited us perfectly. What was even more unbelievable was his ability to get a fair price in a difficult market to buy in. Truly remarkable.

Post sale, there were a few issues we had to resolve and Colin stayed true to character. He went a pulled permit history and continued to liaison between the seller and us. The issues were resolved quickly and amicably. I still call on Colin to this day for advice and connections.

Sold a Townhouse home in 2014 for approximately $175K in North Aurora, Aurora, CO.
We have used Colin on multiple listings; he always takes care of every detail so the transaction is seamless. Additionally, he gets us the best price for our property due to his knowledge and expertise. I recommend him to everyone I know, and will always use him whenever I sell or buy a home. My children have used him also with the same results.

Colin went above and beyond on the sale of my house! His knowledge of the neighborhood and of the current market helped increase the value of my home. His tactics were spot on and his customer service was excellent. I will absolutely recommend Colin again, and will continue to use him for any real estate needs I might have in the future.

Sold a home in 2014.
My husband and I recently sold our condo and bought our new house with Colin's help. Having never been on the selling side, I was a little nervous about the process. Colin always took the time to answer our questions, and he genuinely cared about our comfort level with the decisions we were making. I valued Colin's honesty, and I believe he looked out for our interests. With Colin's expert knowledge of the Denver market, we were able to find the perfect home. I'll never use anyone but Colin, and I have recommended him many times to friends and family.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Westminster, CO.
Colin was a great real estate agent to work with. We worked with a larger agency and were getting so sick of automatic listings with no follow up until I heard about Colin from a colleague. Immediately, he helped us create a workable game plan and followed up with us continually to ensure we found our dream house. We now live in an amazing home in a neighborhood we love due to his help. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $300K in Regis, Denver, CO.
After having a months-long and horrendous experience with another agent in which I was doing nearly all of the research and legwork(while being berated, instead of educated, for the terms of my offers), Colin truly was a lifesaver. It didn't take long for him to understand what I was looking for after we had seen a few houses. He really pays attention to detail, and he knows the area well so he had lots of great information. It took mere months to close on a house in the super hot Highlands/Berkeley/Sunnyside area because Colin got creative with the offer that got me into my house. Seriously, I had never heard of such a thing, but it worked against 2 other strong offers! He always gave me well-researched information to help me to make good decisions and strong offers which I didn't receive from my other agent.

I had almost given up hope on my dream neighborhood when Colin entered the picture so he was dealing with an already exhausted, frustrated buyer. He helped me keep my emotions out of it as much as he could, but he also let me throw a fit from time to time. He helped keep me sane through the inspection which yielded potentially deal-killing bad news. Luckily, the owners fixed the problem, and I got my house!! I definitely recommend Colin to anyone looking for a house regardless of their experience with home buying.

Bought a home in 2014.
In my recent home purchase, Colin provided exceptional service from start to finish. The process was as smooth as I could have imagined, in large part because Colin was so thorough and prepared. He was able to anticipate issues before they occurred, he was very attentive when I had questions, and he has good working relationships with brokers, inspectors, and other necessary parties. He has a very professional demeanor, and I appreciated his candor about the likely value of the properties we visited. But, beyond getting good "bang for our buck," it was clear that Colin put a big priority on helping my fiancée and I find a house that met our personal tastes. We love our house. Colin did a great job, and I highly recommend him and his team.

Bought a home in 2014.
Colin Whitenack is the one and only realtor I will ever use! His expertise on all aspects of the transaction was phenomenal. He was patient, knowledgeable and on top of his game. He brought us to places that truly fit our character, he knew what we wanted and where we wanted to be even though we were unclear in telling him. Colin made the process a complete enjoyable one. I have already recommended him to many of my friends, all of whom were completely satisfied. He literally made our house dreams come true and I am forever grateful for his proficiency and care in our lives. Can't thank him enough!

Sold a home in 2014.
As this was my first time selling and buying a home, I was a bit nervous about the process. Colin put these nerves at ease by being incredibly informative, by being in tune to what my wife and I were looking for in a home, and also by being supremely honest with us about all aspects of selling/buying. Finding the perfect home was not an easy process, as we were pretty darn particular! Colin was patient with us, found us over 30 homes to view and personally escorted us to each home for viewing. His knowledge of the market and of neighborhoods is impressive and extremely helpful. From our initial meeting to our closing and follow-up; Colin has been a source of phenomenal data, appreciated candor and a great sense of humor. We are now living in a home that was beyond our wildest dreams before starting the process, all thanks to choosing a consummate pro as our realtor. I highly recommend Colin & Co!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $475K in Whittier, Denver, CO.
I'd strongly caution anyone considering this agent. He's your typical commission-only sales guy; he's all over you like white on rice until the minute his commission comes through, and then he's gone.

Sparing all of the drama, the long and short of it is that this agent represented me in a real estate transaction, and once I took possession after closing, there were 2 truckloads of junk left behind by the seller, and I've been left so far with 4 material violations and counting of inspection objection items the seller agreed to remedy. When I contacted this agent to go back to the sellers and make sure they perform on the items in the contract they agreed to and that my agent negotiated, my agent's response was, and I quote, "I... don't represent you anymore." Yep; that's right. I've got it in writing. Translation: I got paid, so we're done.

After calling him out on this and giving him a chance to redeem himself, it quickly became clear that any effort I'd get out of him to make things right for me would be half-hearted at best, so I just gave up.

So now, I've been left on my own to figure this out on my own with no help from my agent. What a class act.

So all in all, as long as you don't have any problems after closing, Colin might be fine for your needs. But if you do, don't expect a thing; you'll be on your own. So the question you need to ask yourself is if you're willing to take that risk.

This review is very upsetting to me. I value my clients and their satisfaction above all else. This was a very challenging transaction, but one that I took a lot of pride in. The events he describes have been changed and exaggerated here. What started as a truckload has increased to four. Additionally, I did follow up to have the seller remove the items as well as some other things. The part of the sentence not included in the representation quote is that I said "I don't technically represent you anymore." I followed that saying I would continue to push to get what he needed done. His reaction was to call out my integrity after working so hard on his transaction and accuse me of only caring about commissions.
