05/14/2013 - JCHINTONSold a Condo home in 2013 in Lindbergh, Atlanta, GA.
Collette has helped my fiancée and I on two projects in the past year. She helped us buy our new home in Cobb while simultaneously selling our condo in Buckhead. It would be impossible to overstate her value on both transactions. From finding the perfect house, to helping us navigate the challenges of selling, Collette made things easy to understand and stress free every step of the way. I recommend her to any friend looking to buy or sell and wouldn’t consider using anyone else in the future.
Response from Collette
Collette made our home selling and buying transpire with ease. Her pre-inspection walk through, staging advice, and market knowledge were invaluable. Collette was patient, thorough, and well connected in the areas that we sold/purchased. Her diligence prior to listing resulted in multiple contracts in less than a week. We highly recommend Collette to anyone thinking about buying or selling and can't imagine going through the process without her!
Response from Collette
Collette is very professional and her contacts usered in an unbelievable amount of traffic. From start to finish I follwed her advice and it was spot on! With an impressive six contracts to consider during the whirlwind sales cyle I was able to acheive the price point goal I needed. For the Brookhaven area in my opinion there is no other agent to consider besides Collette.

Collette is a very experienced real estate agent who knows her market and provides all the expertise and advice to make home buying a less stressful process. I think she does more than just provide valuable real estate advice, she makes you feel like someone is really fighting for your best interests. And after being in my house for almost a year, she's followed up with me to make sure that I've been happy with my purchase. She's even sent reminders for making sure to file my homestead exemption and other helpful tips to maintain my house. I would recommend her to anyone. What a wonderful experience!!

I have woorked with Collette on two separate occasions and wouldn't trust the sale or purchase of a home to anyone else. She provided all the tools needed to get my house sold quickly and at a reasonable price. She has a great team of professionals that are always willing to help. I felt at ease with Collette in charge and she delivered on everything she promised. With Collette's experience and knowledge of the real estate market, you can rest assured that your home is in good hands.

Collette is a consummate professional. Her knowledge of the North Buckhead/Brookhaven/Perimeter area is unparalleled. She was our dedicated advocate from the beginning of our search, when we were uncertain of what we wanted, to the final negotiations at the end. She will be our agent when we sell our house also as I can't imagine another agent with her expertise and dedication.

We considered several real estate agents when we considered selling our home. While most seemed competent, we had no doubt that Collette would be the right agent for us. She was knowledgeable, had done her research and her pricing of our home seemed correct with a clear plan to get the best price for the home. She has a great team that works with her that help take care of details. In the time between our first meeting with Collette and listing the house, the market had changed and Collette herself revised the price upward to try and get the best price. We are convinced that Collette's strategy of getting the house ready to sell with painting, repairs, staging, pricing correctly for the market, her contacts in the real estate business to get buyers and agents to the house and her negotiation skills helped us get a good price and sell the house in a short time. Collette promised us we would be under contract within two weeks of listing and we were under contract in less than a week! She also worked with my husband's employer's relocation company.

In 30 years of buying and selling houses, I've never met an agent as knowledgable, communicative, easy to work with or expert as Collette. Don't hesitate to call her immediately when thinking of selling.

After making the decision to move from California to Georgia, I needed a local real estate agent that I could trust to perform local property searches in Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding counties. I was busy working in California during a portion of the search; thus, it was a requirement that I work with someone who was internet savvy and could task to deliverables while I was in California. Collette McDonald and her team, Susan Rrenno were a dream with which to work, consummate professionals, placing me in a backup offer position for a highly sought after penthouse condo which, through their expertise, resulted in a smooth move to Atlanta and my dream home! Collette and Susan followed up on action items in my absence and did not allow anything to fall through the cracks. When I needed to book third party vendors during the process to task to action items, their network of preferred vendors with whom they work was well rounded. I have purchased 3 homes in the last 15 years and this was far and away the smoothest transaction to date! Thank you Collette and Susan! Ron Steffen, co-owner Sharper Technology.
