Buying a foreclosure is a great way to find a deal on a prospective home, dont listen to their negative comments (which seem to be the norm)......do your research and you'll find the deal youre looking for..........
One thing you should remember there badtime, is that real estate value flucuations are localized and the problems is SoCal are not reflective of the nation as a whole......some markets are are good even great, and some are bad. But in the long run all downturns evenually have an upturn on the horizon.....so if you personally dont feel it is a good time to buy then DONT....
"goodness" lol...Wouldnt generally bother me just have been browsing these discussions for a little while and have seen the word "peoples" about twenty times.......Also the fact that there seems to be no factual basis for the claims just dismay from a bad experience with some agents or something...which somehow translates into a national tragedy, which simply isnt the case, the housing market isnt horrible everywhere despite what the media would have you believe....just a thought
i see your point, he does seem to think he has a wealth of knowledge due to the fact that he is a computer progammer????? dont see the coorelation i guess, but the "peoples" usage was getting old thats all....
I think the should lower the rate to cushion the blow of the arm adjustments that are coming in 08'. Would allow more consumers to retain their homes and hopefully stabilize the market in the future.
There you go an actual constructive comment, "it is a wise thing to do your research" I agree completely. You should be aware though the media outlets you quote, are just that media. Who historically report doom and gloom. Understandably the market you are in is in some trouble, but that isn't the only place in the country.
So why wouldn't I want to buy a foreclosure now???
