Helped me rent a home.

We worked with Jeanne Boucher to look for a rental condo in the area surrounding MGH. What struck me most about Jeanne was her integrity -- it was always about finding the right home for us, and not about a quick signing, etc. It is rare to find such an honest agent who is genuinely interested in helping you. She was also incredibly responsive...we moved from California so only had a few days to find a place. She was quick to find options for us and honest about the pros and cons. When we purchase next year, we will definitely use her again.

One last thing -- throughout the experience, we felt as though a knowledgeable friend was helping us find our home...there was none of the pushy sales approach that I've experienced in the past with other brokers. Her manner put me at ease about the process and made me feel I could completely rely on her counsel. I've already referred one person to her, and will do so to anyone who asks.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $350K in Roslindale, Boston, MA.

We worked primarily with Jeanne Boucher and met with Jessica Quirk a few times. They are both wonderful to work with and there isn't a high-pressure sales push from this team. They respected our stated wants (single family home with a backyard in Boston) and never showed us a place we didn't like. Their business plan is great and they truly let the buyer in the proverbial driver's seat, and they are extremely supportive throughout the entire process. The only small mark down I give is for the negotiation skills in that we have a foundation issue as well as a handful of minor, irritating things (GFCI outlets that need replacing and other such issues). We were advised to just go after the big issue - the foundation - and not the rest of the minor things - the advice being that they could say yes to the small cheap things and no to the foundation fix/money off that we wanted. At the time it seemed like the right advice, and we got the money off that we wanted (mostly). In retrospect, I wish we had asked for the price reduction AND the rest of the fixes. Not sure how that would have turned out and we are happy with where things ended anyway! Pretty much the most responsive agents we could have asked for and such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire transaction. I highly recommend this team!  More Less
