Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Georgetown, CA.
My wife and I decided that it was time to purchase a home together. We decided on a VA Loan, found the company and got the process in motion. I was assigned a realtor at first but found that he was not eager to get the process moving. Everything was last minute and it was obvious to us that he was not prepared to show us our dream home, due to his other clients.

My wife was receiving information from Cathy Sarmento via email that was very helpful in answering VA questions. My wife and I decided that it was time to fire our original realtor and find one that wanted to help us. We asked Cathy if she could meet our needs and was upfront from the beginning. She outlined all the things that she could do for us and for the few things that she couldn’t handle; she identified members of her team who specialized in those areas, such as certain far away locations that she did not deal with on a regular basis. She was upfront with us the entire time. The lines of communication remained open and if I had a complicated question, she answered the question or got an answer in short order.

Coming out of the economic down turn, I was very fearful that I would have a realtor that was simply trying to sell another house at the best price possible. That was not Cathy’s way and she made it known right away. I expressed my fears and she explained to me, step by step, what was happening and why. She bent over backward to keep the process moving and ensure that everything was on the up and up.

I would recommend Cathy to anyone looking for a home. She is knowledgeable, caring and very understanding. She takes the time before, during and after each showing to ensure that your experience with her was worth every minute.

She found us our dream home and we are completely happy.

Showed home in 2009 in Loomis, CA.
I knew Cathy through a non related work experience. When my business partner and I decided to look for property in the area, we decided to give Cathy a try as I was impressed with her enthusiasm and excellent follow through on other business. This ended up being the best decision I could have ever made; Cathy was not only a go getter and moved quickly on the property we were considering but she did extra research and was so honest with the information that she lost out on a sale in order to give us the information that avoided us from losing a lot of money with a business that would not have made it due to local regulations we did not know about. I have always appreciated her character with regard to this situation and she would be the first one I would call if I ever needed a realtor! Thanks Cathy!

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $500K in Auburn, CA.
We originally engaged Cathy Sarmento to help us purchase a house in Auburn, CA in 2001. What impressed us was Cathy's ability and willingness to listen to our needs and wants in a home. She processed our information, and came up with list of homes to match our specific interests. Cathy subsequently helped us buy two more homes in Auburn (in 2007 and 2010). She also helped us sell our first Auburn home, and assisted us in renting the second house. Cathy is "our" Realtor.

Love working and visiting with you. Helping you build wealth through real estate is a shared goal and will be a legacy to your children. Using the home equity conversion mortgage to put your equity to work for you was a great resource.

Sold a Single Family home in 2002 for approximately $350K in Meadow Vista, CA.
Cathy has successfully sold two houses for us. One had been listed by another company for over a year with no bites. Cathy was able to sell the place, at a good price, within 3-5 months. She also helped us when we purchased our present home.

Our daughter is currently having Cathy look for a property for them as they wish to relocate from S. Cal. to our area and is confident Cathy will diligently search until they find what they like.

Always a delight to work with your family. Cheryl now has their future retirement property rented out for a positive cash flow in the interim. A great recipe for success.

Sold a home in 2008.
Cathy worked with me to sell my house in Newcastle, CA., in 2008, at a time when the real estate market was fast falling apart. She made it possible to sell my house, and it was a joy and a pleasure to work with her. She is the opitomy of professionalism, is extremely knowledgeble about the market, and how to navigate it. I would recommend Cathy to any person trying to buy or sell their property, without reservation.

Sold a home in 2005.
I have worked with Cathy Sarmento over the years with numerous realestate issues and she has always been professional, patient, knowledgable and always available.

When my mother died, I had a complicated transaction (residential home multipleTrust sale) and after interviewing three realtors, Cathy proved to be the most qualified. Additional documentation, justification and approval of Attorney, Accountant, Multiple Beneficiaries, Tax boards and myself as executor was required.

Cathy handled the transaction with grace, attention to detail and amazing expertise.

To coin a well known phrase with a bit of alteration: "You're in good hands with Cathy Sarmento".

Having complete transparency for a complicated transaction with multiple entities to report it is important to have a paper trail and documentation. I am more than happy to offer that as a value added service, of course at no additional cost.

Bought a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $225K in North Highlands, CA.
Cathy was very adaptive. The homes we were looking at were all foreclosures and she had to deal w/ the banks instead of other realtors (and this was back in 2008, when the housing market had recently crashed). She was able to change her ways in order to deal with the change in the housing market.
