I was in the middle of a refi with another mortgage company who I felt was not upfront about costs from the beginning and was not answering many questions I had based on estimates they were sending me. They were not direct and at times could (or did not) answer my questions. So I turned to Zillow and posted the questions trying to find and clarify answers to questions my lender didn’t provide. Justin at CMG was extremely helpful, responded to questions immediately and in way that was clear and concise for the novice refinancer. He did not attempt to solicit business, just provided answers. After getting information from Justin and my lack of trust in the lender I had been working with I opted to back out of my refi with the lender and decided to contact Justin myself and do my refi through him. Justin was extremely knowledgeable, responsive at even off business hours via e-mail and provided multiple interest rates and explained how each one would effect me both short-term and long-term. To say Justin is a miracle worker is an understatement. I posted a question on Zillow Forums in desperation. I had been turned down for a refi by my credit union because of my debt to income ratio. I called my current mortgage holder, and they immediately put me in to a HARP loan. I had a HELOC that was going to reset in 5 months and the HARP program did nothing to help me with that. Justin was one of the brokers that responded to my question. He was the only one that answered my question in language I could understand, and didn't make me sound like a lost cause. Much to my surprise, his office was less than 10 minutes from me! After an email and a phone call, I was in his office the next day. In spite of some financial obstacles, Justin was able to put together a loan package that the lender was OK with, and was way beyond what I thought was possible. Justin kept in contact with me through email and phone calls just about every day….even weekends. Time from first contacting him to closing: 40 days. I hope Justin realizes what a gift he has in dealing with people and lenders. He has given me a fresh financial start and made my retirement plans a reality.  More Less

I was looking to refinance my mortgage loan. I contacted Justin Sheftell due to his impressive reviews here on Zillow. I must admit they are all right after completing the refinance process in a couple of weeks without any issues. Highly recommended.
