Bought a home in 2012.
My husband and I began house hunting with Jeanne Fredrick/ Keller Williams Curtin Team in late October 2012. We were so please with our agent; her expertise and professionalism shined through every time we met. She was so helpful and encouraging and made the entire house hunting process fun and enjoyable. Every email and phone call was returned promptly and with enthusiasm. We were also extremely pleased and impressed with the quick closing thanks to Kathy Vitali and Fairfield Mortgage. Thanks to their team's hard work, we closed before Christmas and are now living happily in our first home! Home buying can sometimes be overwhelming, but with a team like Joanne and Tom backing you up 100%, it sure makes it a lot easier! Thanks so much!

Joanne and Tom did a fantastic job representing us in the sale of our former home...and in the purchase of our new home. Their knowledge of market sales and their relationship with builders/developers resulted in us getting an aggressive purchase price. They always communicated in a professional manner and got back with us within hours if we had any questions. I would highly recommend using them on your next home purchase or sale.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Woodstock, GA.
We had already listed our house with another agent and were not pleased with the service or how much traffic we were getting at the house. We consulted with Joanne and she immediately came out to meet with us armed with lots of data and information to help with the process and how the market is behaving at that time. She has a team of professionals that made the sale possible. I am fully impressed with the staging company she used as well as the photographer she used. We had a lot of traffic since then and we had multiple offers on the house and sold it in a tough economy. I would definitely recommend Tom and Joanne. They know what they're doing and they are up to date on technology and know how to use it for the benefit of their customers. They also do many special things to make their customers happy and feel special.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in Woodstock, GA.
We came to Joanne after we had already been with another agent. With Joanne and her team, we received a MUCH higher level of quality of service. Joanne and her team prepared a beautiful flier for our home, took beautiful pictures, prepared a wonderful slideshow and responded patiently to our numerous questions. When it came time to negotiate with the Buyers, she was honest and realistic with us and helped us come to an agreement that was good for us. Our original contract fell through (our Buyer changed her mind) and Joanne and her team immediately began contacting potential buyers and resetting our listing as Active, and within 3 days, we were under contract again. We can't say enough wonderful things about Joanne and her team!!

Sold a home in 2012.
Selling your house is a very stressful process and having the right Realtor can make that process much easier. Choosing the Joanne Curtain team was the best decision we made once we decided to list our house. Sold a Single Family home in 2004 for approximately $225K in Woodstock, GA.
Their knowledge and expertise is outstanding. The followup on issues prior to closing is teriffic. Joanne as right on in the pricing of our old house. She was also helpful in negotiating the changes the buyer wanted in the final contract. The closing of the old house was very clean and all issues like painting and repairs were cleared up prior to closing. All changes and builder issues like leaking windows and faulty sliding doors were taken care of by Tom prior to closing on the new house. He made the final walk thru a pleasure.

Prior to signing: Excellent service, extremely friendly, and much one on one personal service.She will request a 7% commission. Don't do it. No other realtor will demand it and her "service" definitely does not warrant it. After signing the contract, you will never see, talk or have personal contact with her or her team again until someone shows up to get their commission at the closing. Everything is done virtual, either texting or email, including presentation of the buyers contract and contract negotiations. As a seller, if you do not know real estate law or are unable to understand a contract, you are at risk as she NEVER reviews it with you. You are on your own to read it/interpret it/ask questions. Seller beware. Joanne states she works with a team. What this means is that she sucks you into the listing and then she disappears except to jump in occasionally via text if her "team" (husband) can't handle it. All questions on the contract and post contract were handled via email by her husband. We were even emailed that our questions on the closing documents would be answered by the closing attorney at the closing! Unbelievably, Joanne did not even show-up at the closing. Her husband came and, after getting the check, tried to leave without saying goodbye (interesting that the buyers agent took the moment to say goodbye). Very unprofessional. In fact,post closing, we even got a "Congratulations on your closing" note from them via the realtor listing service message feedback site. What a joke. Joanne recommends staging for all her listings and stated that the stager would come with a laborer. After negotiating for her to pay for the staging, the laborer did not come with the "package" (too expensive on her dime?) so the labor was put on us, incl moving furniture to the second floor. My home was a disaster after the stager left when her paid 4 hrs was done and it required 8 hrs( until 4 am!) cleaning and boxing up everything left in the stager's wake.Joanne also recommended a wall color to be painted in several rooms. The color was horrific and clearly not a match to the rest of the home. The stager agreed and called to tell Joanne. She very evidently did not care that the color did not go with our home and it was my cost to repaint. We have sold 5 homes so we are not novices in home selling. This was the worst,most impersonal service we have ever experienced. In our opinion, Joanne and her team appeared to be more of a buyers agent, doing whatever was necessary to ensure that the buyers and their agent were happy so they could get their check. Our concerns and needs were not important. The only recommendation that was made by Joanne (and not by any other realtors we interviewed) and I would strongly make is that you get an appraisal of your home, confirming the price that you are asking for, prior to listing the house. The buyer's mortgager won't use it but it does help with your negotiations to make it a quicker process at a higher close price. Any other agent can get this for you so do yourself a favor and go with them.

Joanne does not just sit by and let the buyers come to you, she and her team make the sell happen. She is selling homes in a "down" market and selling them quickly.
