Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Florence, KY.
Duane helped me both to sell and recently purchase. In both cases he expertly navigated me through some difficult negotiations.
With the recent purchase I'm amazed more people aren't purchasing in this once in a lifetime crazy market. Now is the best time to call Duane DeGroff.

Bought a home in 2011.
Duane sold our house very quickly in Florence, and then we were on the house hunt for our new home. He was very knowledgable about the market, and was able to help us locate a home in our target area. Duane knew about a lot of the listings and would steer us away from homes with major problems. He listened to our needs/wants and followed through. Duane is always honest, and professional. We would highly recommend Duane to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. We also would seek out his professional services again when we have a need.

I am a first time home buyer and the use of the internet was not only convenient but a eye opener because I am old school and not a computer wiz. I used the computer as a guide on locating information in my search for a house. Duane DeGroff responded on my search. He not only acted as a guide and expert but he took time to listen on what I was looking for. He jumped right in and started showing me and sending me information everyday on houses. He never hesitated on helping me out and I found my home. I will always be grateful!!!! Thanks Duane

I recommend Duane as a buyer's agent. He listens, presents data, and stays relatively neutral when showing a home; not pushy. Occasionally, he's found ways of making the sale work better, and, on one occasion, eventually listed a home in which we had our interest, to bring the deal to fruition.
As with all brokers, ask for YOUR deal on YOUR terms, and insist on not paying junk fees that are created just to add profit for the broker. RE/MAX Affiliates broker wasn't doing so well in the down economy and added junk fees to our latest deal, and we insisted that those could not be on the buyer's side of the ledger.
I do a lot of research when purchasing something like this... far more than any broker ever does. I have bought two homes with Duane's help.

Again, he was right there, always willing to get together and work with us. His efforts and prompt responses allowed us to seal the deal on our current home. I trust him like a friend, and think of him the same way.
Post sale, he was able to provide good recommendations for anything from a pest control specialist to a roofer. Duane is the top of the class in the Real Estate market and I have, and will continue to recommend him to all my friends and family.
