about me:Geographically, I cover the residential real estate market west of Interstate 5, as far north as Florence, as far south as Gold Beach, as either a buyer's agent and/or a seller's agent. I was born in Myrtle Point, grew up in Gold Beach, and went to college in Eugene (Go Ducks!). I have lived in Coquille since about 2002.

This Is an unusual review, but well worth reading. My husband and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, and did not meet until we both "fled" to the beautiful Oregon coast in the mid 90's. We both worked for state and federal parks, love the outdoors, and are extremely happy after 15 years of mariage. My husband is nearing retirement, and we both are longing to buy a retirement property in Eastern Oregon, which we also love very much. We have a wonderful, secluded little farm and forest property on the central coast, which we thought would sell almost immediately. Unfortunately, due to reasons we are still not sure of, we are having a very difficult time showing it to potential buyers. We located Dan on the internet last summer and were very impressed. Dan is a very knowledgeable, professional, kind and honest man. We were impressed with him from the very start, and still are. Dan did not sell our property last summer, but never had much of a chance. Dan's skills at internet listings are extraordinary, far over and above any other real estate agent. It seems that our property is so unique to the area, and also so secluded (no "curb appeal") that it is very difficult to get potential buyers to just come take a look. We decided to take the house off the market last winter and re-think the situation. Dan suggested ( now what agent would ever do this!) that he may be too far away to help us, and that we may want to try to list with a more local agent. WELL, the local agents here don't compare to Dan, and the one we chose has not shown our property once in 3 months! Well, we are going back to Dan, and back to the drawing board. We are confident that if anyone can sell our precious little farm, he will. We have every confidence in Dan as a man of integrity and professionalism. We know that with God's help, Dan is going to help us find the right person, who will fall in love with our property, and then we will be able to buy our dream retirement property in East Oregon. Dan is a wonderful person, and an outstanding agent! We can say that even though he has not sold our house ...YET. But he will!

Bought a home in 2015 in Lakeside, OR.

Dan was a great realtor, very helpful, knowledgable, nice and easy to work with . Dan was helpful for us especially living out of state, really a great person to help and answer any questions that came up. We bought a home and also a vacant lot.

Bought a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $200K in Bandon, OR.

I have now had occasion to deal with 5 real estate agents in 2+ years (not because I wanted to); Dan Wooldridge is from here to the moon better than even other "good" agents. I'm a 70 year old woman, opinionated, and straight forward. Selling my home frightened me and the only thing I was sure of was the HUGE amount I did not know about the process that I needed (or should) know. Dan was a "gift." We looked at lots of properties (I had a good, confirmed offer on my current home more than 2 months before I finally found something I liked enough to buy. I couldn't have survived that without Dan's extensive help. I was looking to buy in an area about 4 hrs. drive from where I lived at the time; travel was difficult for me. Dan took dozens of photographs of various properties and e-mailed them to me to help screen out homes that wouldn't work so I didn't have to spend every weekend driving back and forth. During the actual transaction, he gave me important information on the things one would expect an agent to know about, but also on related material that was equally important that I didn't even know to ask about. His referrals to other professionals (house cleaner, contractor, handyman, etc.) have all resulted in excellent service at a fair price. If you want the best experience, Dan is "the man."
