Ratings & Reviews

In 2002, after living in a condo for over ten years, we decided to buy a home. We did not have a real estate agent, but decided to choose an agent through a program Costco was offering at the time. I randomly walked up to Dan Georgia, who was one of several agents manning the service desk at the warehouse one day, and told him I was interested in buying a house. I was a Costco employee; I wanted to use the Costco real estate program. I did not know him, but his demeanor was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant, so I decided to give him a “try”. From the onset, his manner was both professional and punctual. He took an interest in understanding us and our desires, worked hard to locate appropriate showings, and was respectful both our time and our persons. It was a tight real estate market at that time and not an easy “showing” for him, plus we were very “discriminating” buyers. When we found the home we wanted to purchase, his knowledge of the “islands” and culture helped us get our home. (His little suggestion that he said might persuade the seller to accept our offer worked, even when the seller’s agent was told him that our offer would not be accepted, but they accepted! Seems Dan knew more than the seller’s “high-end “agent!) The closing, however, was a nightmare, due to the ineptitude of the seller’s agent and the inability of the seller to vacate in a timely matter. Throughout the process, Dan displayed his competent negotiating skills to expedite our move-in. After the purchase, Dan followed-up several times for feedback. He took a genuine interest in us. Dan is the type of person you would like as a friend, but more importantly, Dan is the type of real estate agent that you would want when purchasing a million dollar home on Oahu. He is hard working, has integrity, he is intelligent, innovative, results oriented, respectful, takes an interest in the client, is a great negotiator, concerned about results, and, oh yes, fun (has a dry sense of humor!) I have a close friend who is now a real estate agent. I have to be honest, if I were to sell or purchase another property on Oahu, I would choose Dan over my friend (sorry, friend, but too much money at stake).

Bought a home in 2004.

We couldn't have asked for a better real estate agent! Dan started working with my husband and me while we were still in Japan. By the time we arrived in Hawaii, Dan had 15 properties for us to visit. He clearly understood what we were looking for and he was there every step of the way. Closings were taken care of after we had returned to Japan, and there were a few complications, which we came through with flying colors thanks to Dan. Then when I went to Hawaii to go to grad school, everything was set. Dan has integrity! If we ever decide to sell, we will list with Dan.  More Less

Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $550K in Hawaii Kai, Honolulu, HI.

Dan has been an incredble agent willing to do whatever is needed to best represent his client. His knowledge in all aspects of the transaction as well as his flexibility has been most appreciated. While being very motivated, he also has been very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone.  More Less
