    We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Bates Corners, New Franklin, OH 44203
    I called Darlene Hall to come out and discuss the sales of my mother's home. She came out promptly and sat with me for about 45 minutes going over al the details of the house and sale. I should have turned on the air conditioner but didn't. We sat there in the 80+ heat, she never complained or acted like she was in a hurry. I really enjoyed talking to her, she was very down to earth and nice.

    Turns out I didn't use her services to sell the home. It took almost a year when I was finally read to sell the home and I found a buyer the first week.

    However, I was impressed with her knowledge of the Barberton area and I would use her in the future for any real estate sales or purchases.

    Bought a home in 2013.
    TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! If you want someone who has horrible communication and a very poor work ethic where you the consumer do all the work and are left on your own, then the Darlene Hall Team is for you. This review is based on almost 4 months working with this realtor team. Howard Hanna realty company employees care only about making money and work Monday through Friday 8-5. We moved from out of state and found Nicole Wakeling who is part of the Darlene Hall team (she doesn’t have her own profile). We have purchased and sold a home before so we are quite knowledgeable about the process of buying and how a realtor should perform. We looked at one house and put an offer despite never receiving any comparables of surrounding houses as a good realtor should do. After we signed the papers our realtor suddenly told us she is going on vacation for 2 weeks. She obviously didn’t want to mention this BEFORE we signed the papers. We were left hanging and weren’t told who to contact so we contacted Darlene Hall since Nicole is part of her team. It just went downhill from there. During the home inspection, there was no one to let us in the house! They knew when it was scheduled. I had to make several phone calls until they just gave me the code over the phone to get in the house, which isn’t ethical and probably illegal on their part. When I tried to talk to them about this unacceptable oversight, no one wanted to take responsibility and they just made excuses and dismissed the whole incident. From there we had to constantly stay on top of them by calling and emailing for almost 4 months to make sure everything was in line and they were doing their job. If it weren’t for that, we never would have stayed in compliance with the contract because they weren’t keeping track! That’s unheard of! The Darlene Hall team is slow to respond and give minimal information when asked. I had to ask the same questions 3 times to get a straight answer. It got so bad we had to get upper management involved including the office manager, and 4 other upper management in Howard Hanna include 2 of THE Howard Hannas (Howdy, and Howdey), who by the way were completely disrespectful and didn’t care even though they own the company! If you tried to get a hold of anyone from Friday after 5:00pm through the weekend, you wouldn’t hear back until Monday afternoon. What type of Realtor Company works Monday through Friday until 5:00pm? We felt so helpless despite pleading for help from the broker and owners because we signed a contract with them and since we wanted to buy the house we were stuck. What a terrible feeling when buying a house! It got so bad that our lending company even did some of the work the realtor should do because otherwise we would NEVER close on the house. How pathetic! Once you sign the papers, they will do the minimum amount of work and barely communicate because of the obligated commission that’s paid to them. It’s no longer EARNING commission, which they do NOT deserve!! We can’t say enough bad things about the Darlene Hall team and Howard Hanna despite their “impressive” numbers. Numbers and awards aren’t as important as present work ethic and relationship. “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” We can tell you after almost 4 months, THEY DON’T CARE!!     We certainly understand your frustration. Buying a foreclosed home is a difficult process. We had everyone in our company, including our office & regional managers, and the owner Hoddy Hanna working on your behalf. We waived fees. Getting documents signed from the bank was out of our control. We made repeated requests. Summit County was backed up with recording sheriff sale deeds, and would not transfer until it had a clear title. We, as a buyer's agent have absolutely no control over these delays. From the moment you contacted us, we answered all questions, showed you various properties, and negotiated on your behalf. We worked more on your transaction than any other transaction this year! We have hundreds of happy clients. In this competitive real estate market, you do not have the success that the Hall Team has by giving sub par service.
