I worked with Darren for my very first home purchase in this competitive market. I wouldn't been able to get it done without Darren's help and advice , to be more precisely, mentorship. Sold a Single Family home in 2009 in Livermore, CA.
I have known Darren for 16 years and he has been my real estate agent for 2 purchases and 1 sale over the last 7 years. His professionalism and hard work has made for positive experiences. Before we even started, Darren educated us on the buying process and made certain we were not only ready but qualified to purchase a house when we found it. My wife and I were not in a hurry, so Darren didn't rush us. Darren was very patient and helped us narrow down our choices to find the best value. He helped us define our wants and needs and kept them in mind even when we didn't. He understood what we wanted and steered us back on track when we strayed. Darren's construction background provided us with an insight to homes that most agents are just not able to provide. Along with his knowledge of real estate law and expertise in contracts and negotiating gave us an advantage when we found the house we were looking for. The sellers were always struggling to keep up with the disclosures that Darren required. He negotiated hard to get us a very good price which included repairs and credits. Darren and his team of professionals saved us thousands of dollars. I would recommend Darren to anyone buying or selling a house. We can trust Darren to the point where we really don't have to worry about the sale. We know he will take care of it and look out for your best interests.

Sold a home in 2003.
Darren has helped us find and buy both of our houses and sell our first house. He listened to our requests and desires and worked hard to find what we wanted. He cared about us and wanted the best for us, and it showed in the time and effort he put in to working with us. His research was detailed, and I quickly came to value his opinion. We will definitely use Darren again if the time ever comes to sell our house and find a new one.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Watsonville, CA.
Darren helped us through a condo short sale. It was a very trying process that took three attempts over 6 months to accomplish due to lender issues. He was always very responsive, patient, thorough, informative, professional and timely. He clearly knows his stuff with real estate and even though the commission was very small (being a small condo) he worked tirelessly for us. We would highly recommend him for any real estate transaction. You won't be sorry.

We recently sold our home using Darren Wilford as our listing agent. Darren's marketing knowledge was a key factor that helped us decide to list our home with his team. He knew what other comparable homes were selling for and what to do with our home in order to get the best price with multiple offers.
Darren's marking approach is excellent. He recommended that we certify our home to save time and get the highest value possible. He suggested the most cost effective repairs, and exposed our home using innovative on-line tools.
Darren's negotiation skills provided us with a collaborative win, win experience that delivered less time on the market and we got a price that exceeded our expectations.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $650K in Fairgrounds, San Jose, CA.
I often recommend Darren to my friends who may want to buy a house, but even more often I refer to him as an example of professionalism when I talk to my colleagues. The way he stuck with me (the most unlikely of home buyers) and gave me the highest level of support was great. Even though the first time I approached him I was nowhere near financially ready for buying, he took me seriously and coached me on the process. A year later, when I was able to buy, he was there every step, giving great advice, but not taking over my decisions. I got the perfect house, and the pleasure of working with someone who has the passion, skills, and integrity to be great at what he does.

Darren is a highly skilled and very professional realtor specializing in short sales and other distressed property sales.
I tried and failed to short sell my property many times over a long time, but once I got connected to Darren and his team, we sailed by all the hard parts and into close of escrow.
Make no mistake, a short sale is NOT something you can do on your own, or even with a regular realtor. You need someone that has closed tens if not hundreds of short sales, and have done all the hard negotiations with the banks many times before. You need someone as skilled as Darren to do the hard parts for you

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $425K in Santa Teresa, San Jose, CA.
Darren helped me and my wife buy our first home in San Jose CA. It’s very easy for first time buyers to be overwhelmed by the process of buying a home, fortunately Darren was able to simplify the process quite a bit. The whole time we were house hunting, making sure the home was right for us was his highest priority. Darren has very high availability making it much easier to set up a time to see properties. In the end Darren’s expertise got us a great price. Darren keeps his clients best interest as a highest priority. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone looking to buy/sell a home.
