Dave has graduate and post-graduate degrees from the following accredited universities:
The University of Washington in Seattle, Washington (B.S. from School of Fisheries), The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary (M. Div.) and St. Thomas Aquinas Institute of Theology (M. A. in Biblical Studies) in Dubuque, Iowa.

Vocation

Mr. Scriven was an ordained pastor with the United Presbyterian Church for 7 years. He has successfully supported his family in the sales industry since leaving the ministry in 1987. Dave is a
Principal Broker and has been a licensed Realtor® since 1994.
Family Dave has 7 children and resides with his wife and family in Beaverton, Oregon. He is very active with his family in church, youth sports, cycling, and hiking. Two of his children have graduated from the University of Oregon, one from Western Kentucky University, and he currently has a son at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. His two youngest children attend West Hills Christian School.

Real Estate

Dave became a multi-million dollar producer within his first year of full-time real estate sales. His obvious people skills make him a natural and trusted friend to both buyers and sellers.  He excels in business because of his attention to detail, systematic and comprehensive follow-up and, of course, ample experience. Dave is an on-going Diamond Platinum member of the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® “Million Dollar Club.”

In 2006, Dave merged forces with his daughter Emily Booth, also a licensed Broker with RE/MAX, to create Scriven & Booth, a unique team that blends experience and innovation.  Dave and Emily’s combination of talent and enthusiasm proved to be a great success placing them in the top 2% of RE/MAX Equity Group. Dave’s team also includes LuAnn Knoedler who expertly manages the office, and processes all transactions. Scriven & Booth’s mission statement is “to always care and
