About a year and a half ago, I needed to make a short sale for my home, which was located in Merced, CA. Since I do not currently live in Merced, I decided to reach out to David for help on the matter.
In particular, I had asked him for help on the short sale process, filing for government help (HAFA and other available products), as well as to see if he could recommend any realtors in that area. While David is not from Merced and did not know of any realtors personally at the time, he did not hesitate to dig into anyway. He was also happy to provide information and an overview of the short sale process.
The next day or so, through his connections at Village Properties, he got back to me and informed me that he was able to find and connect me with a qualified agent in Merced who had experience with the short sale process. It all worked out with that agent, and the sale went through after several months.
However, David's great service didn't end there. During the short sale process, he also acted as a "second realtor;" he never hesitated to answer any questions I had about the process or contracts (I actually felt more comfortable asking David some of the questions that I had over my own Merced realtor!).
On top of that, he continues to answer questions to this day, more than 1 year later, that I have been asking about tax liability and the recent changes to the law regarding that.
All in all, David's performance went above and beyond what was expected. He did excellent work and I would highly recommend him.
