My husbanb bought a home in 03/06 and we got married on 08/06, could I call that our house?

This really depends and you should talk to a real estate attorney, but most likely the answer is no.  The real question is what do the purchase documents say relating to your husband's purchase, and was anything recorded with the county/city, since his mother is on the deed.  In short, without any additional documentation it is your mother-in-law's house.  However your husband may have "equitable rights" and through your marriage you might have some rights related to those equitable rights.Bottom line, call a real estate attorney to get the specifics here, because I have a feeling that there's a lot more behind your question than was presented.
