Hi, I have contacted the agent, Vince Grant and his assistant confirms that they should NOT be listign this home. The reason it's posted on Zillow is that he has it listed on his website too and that listing is being fed to Zillow. They assured me that the listing would be removed from their site which will also remove it from Zillow within a day or two. So sorry and glad you noticed and contacted us.
mckelligan - According to the public record, the homes aren't identical - yours has 5 beds, the other home has 3. 5 bedroom homes the size of yours in your area are typically worth less than 3 bedroom homes of the same size. This is not uncommon; smaller, more tight floorplans can often fetch less than more spacious homes.If you use the tool that allows you to "create an estimate" and you change your home's facts to equal that of 6 Pinecrest, you'll notice that the estimate also changes to almost the same value as the Zestimate for 6 Pinecrest. You should also note that the County assessor also assessed 6 Pinecrest at a greater value than 31 Spruceland and that your local assessor's variance in their estimates are also close to the variance in these two Zestimates.
LOL - the joke is the date on that article you just linked to (2006.) As the article says, it was a publicity stunt - the NCRC have since withdrawn their complaint (FYI - I've deleted the duplicate post on this topic.)Is there something on Zillow.com that you need help with?
